Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

I just used my other 20% off coupon in addition to 2000 points and I was able to stack the Beauty Break and the GWP’s. The system made it difficult to redeem in 2000 point increments. The system kept locking at 1950 points. It took multiple tries to get to the 2000 point redemption. Be careful when redeeming points because there is a huge discrepancy between 1950 points and 2000 points. 1950 points has a $86.00 value and 2000 points has a $125.00 value. That is a $39.00 difference.

Uh oh. I think I am banned from Ulta. I still recieve emails, but I spoke with a rep who said that I will not be able to place an order and that they will follow up with me in 5 to 7 business days. The funny thing is, I got a 70 dollar charge from Ulta.com last month, for a purchase that I did not make and now, I am unable to make a purchase. Unfortunately, Ulta may have just lost my buisness. Darn. I will miss the free gifts, but my wallet thanks them.

@Ashletta216 Ugh, I thought I was safe because I'm Diamond too... guess not! According to the threads, some have had success emailing the CEO directly, since the CS may not really have the ability to resolve this.

@Ashletta216 sorry! I’ve heard details about this situation- Ulta ruthlessly purges any buyers with behaviors suggesting reselling or dropshipping. They will block your up address, shipping address and any accounts that you subsequently try to use, such as your friend or sister. Worst thing is they fully deny this practice. And they don’t care if you are not actually reselling, if they think you are, they cut you off. You can still shop in store and use your diamond account and rewards though, they only practice this discrimination online. There should be a class action lawsuit to force disclosure of this business practice.

I agree, this should be disclosed. But can’t understand the motive behind it. I’m just curious how a company that is losing market shares, can afford to lose it’s best (Diamond) customers.

Ugh, my biggest beauty fear...sorry. I've seen a couple of threads about this issue. Do you have the Ulta credit card and are you Platinum? Seems most peeps falls under these categories. So unfair your credit card gets compromised and YOU get punished.

Long story short, this happened to me a couple years back and couldnt order for like 3 months. It was some combo of address andcard because when i tried using other cards to pay I kept getting the dreaded error (because of course same address). Literally no one at ULTA could help, nor were they really paying attention to what I  was telling them, and kept getting canned responses. When I created a completely different account with different address it worked. But yea after about 3 months of going back and forth i was finally able to place an order again from my actual account.

Sorry to hear about that @Ashletta216. Anytime I have had a similar problem, I just contacted the credit card company directly and I let them do their due diligence. That way I have always had the problem solved to my satisfaction.

This might be my best Ulta haul yet!!! I got the Classy & Confident before, so I'm interested in seeing if this bag will be different from the first one.

You’re welcome @magda124, and @sephoraaddict918  I’m wondering about subs too, especially since I haven’t even gotten the first bag I ordered and the reviews on these bags have been mentioning 8-9 subs! I’ve noticed a lot of subs lately and my Lorac Diamond perk from September was dried out and useless. A previous bag I got (28 piece w/$70 purchase in August) had all 5 prestige deluxe samples subbed with drug store items, packets or nothing  (these 5 were the reason I got it in the first place) and I’m scared to call and complain for fear of getting banned! This sort of behavior reminds me of what happened at Sephora over the past few years, which is why I’m no longer Rouge, so I hope ulta isn’t on the same downward spiral.

Sorry to hear about your Lorac Diamond Perk @quetzalina. Mine isn't dried out, but the color isn't as expected based on the online pictures. Is it possible to exchange it? Also, do you store it upside down? I store all my cream pots upside down to help keep the moisture in the top layer.

Hi tried @sephoraaddict918, but my store no longer carries Lorac. Maybe if I visit a store in another city that still carries it, but the clock is ticking and I don't know if I will have the opportunity to travel in time. It arrived like that, so I haven't tried storing in upside down. Its a shame Ulta is sending old products as perks. Thanks for the tip 😉

I had no idea @itscarin. I don’t use Hempz but I found one of their lotions inside of a draw at work and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I usually use JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter
