Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@sephoraaddict918   Thanks!  That would be nice; and I hope they will have some more general multipliers because those are the only ones I seem to get.  That 15x or whatever the huge one was in addition to the brand multlipliers was something else!

@treestar86  It was August 17-19th, I believe.  Right now there is a smaller multiplier, but it's on everything.  Check the "my reward" section in your account!

If it’s any consolation, I put in an order for 4 products that sun. Then Monday, it was 10x the points so I missed out on 1000 points. That was tough to swallow. And when there actually is a diamond full size perk that I want, I couldn’t figure out how to add the perk to my order (this was when I first made diamond). I ended up paying full price and buying the product separately after I missed the opportunity to get the full size product free 😂

@treestar86  Yes the August one was the 10x on some brands and 5x everything else.  There are a lot of targeted multipliers that go out to only some people, but the current one and that 10x and 5x ones were for everyone.

Anyone know how I can find out Diamond deal codes? I stopped getting marketing emails (but not order/appointment confirmation emails) weeks ago. I've tried changing email addresses and un/re-subscribing to no avail. Finally I called CS and they said they'd try to reset my email subscription but could take up to a week! In the meantime missing all these Diamond deals, during 21 Days and my birthday month no less

I would also recommend contacting Ulta through their social media messages @MataDC. I went through something similar last year, and it wasn't resolved until I messaged Ulta through their Facebook page.

Here's hoping to a good Beauty Break soon. Someone in my family dropped a hint that they'd like a bottle of cologne today which would have been nice to have known yesterday with the 2 GWP's (not including the free LORAC shadow) I could have gotten with it. Also kinda bummed about the recent drought of multipliers.

Holiday gift sets are also starting to come out, so if it's a scent that's popular it might be worth waiting for the gift set or even possibly go for one of those sample sets that let you pick a full size of one of the included minis. I know Sephora put out a fall set like that out last week, so the men's sets are probably coming later this month. @niki172
