Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@RGbrown WHOA.  I wonder if Sephora shoppers of Tom Ford will switch to Ulta due to their rewards system.  You'd be earning a LOT with his products.

I think folks that shop at Sephora only for brands they can't get at Ulta will definitely swap to Ulta for these, and perhaps shoppers that are looking for better rewards in general...Ulta is really stepping it up with the brands, and it's getting harder for Sephora to claim that "more elite" status that has always been their justification for lesser rewards. With a 20% (and/or a fragrance multiplier), I certainly have an idea of what I'll be buying myself for Christmas, and I never would have considered buying a TF fragrance before 😁

@RGbrown  yes, this is why I hope ellis brooklyn comes there also, as I've only gotten their small samplers and would get a ton of points on the full size.  I asked on her IG awhile ago and she just said they're not in ulta, but with all these brands coming there...one can hope! 🙂  I mean they certainly would do a lot more business, especially with a small brand that is kinda pricey, thus people like me holding out buying things... I'm glad they now have kiehls, as I've never tried anything from them and wanted to...just waiting for a sale or more points. 😛

Holy crap!!!!! Did not see that one coming. Maybe Tatcha and DE are not impossible after all! Neroli Portofino is the most GORGEOUS scent for summer... perhaps my very favorite! Still have the beautiful bottle, even though I finished it long ago. 😁

I'm Ulta Diamond & often advise others to consider buying Ulta stock, but the $150 James Charles brushes by Morphe have me reconsidering why I should buy anything from them moving forward based on principle. Essentially, Ulta & Morphe have no business offering $150 sets of makeup brushes geared for an audience that largely cannot afford it, but will want it even if it means charging it, which is irresponsible. Why? The price, the product, and the number of brushes are insanity. No one needs this much to look good, let alone young consumers. Most appallingly, the price belongs to quality brush makers who know how to make brushes; not figureheads with no knowledge of what goes into a brush that will last for decades. You failed, Ulta. /end rant

I wouldn't let Ulta offering that JC set upset you so much. You have to assume that people who buy makeup and skincare products have enough common sense to buy what works for them, and give them the same consideration you'd want for yourself. Hell'd be freezing over before I'd buy it, but that's me; I get that for someone else, for whatever reason that's unique to them, it's something they'd like.

Life is so much easier when we give other people the leeway we want for ourselves, don't you think? 🙂

I totally get where you're coming from, and believe me I have no love for James Charles - but if you do the math it's less than $4.50 a brush (34 brushes for $150). I get the idea behind what Morphe is going for - "buy this set and you will have a full collection of every brush you'll need".

Since Ulta is carrying Kiko, I thought I'd share my latest haul from Kiko direct.  Unless you are using points, you probably would get a better deal at Kiko than Ulta.

Kiko Milano haul- I had a 20% off of sale coupon. I'm going to try very hard for this to be my last haul of the summer.

Top left- Ocean Feel Highlighter 02 Virtuous Golden Rose- $10.40; top right- Beyond Limits Eye Shadow Palette 03 Positive Attitude- $8.51.

Middle left-Velvet Touch Creamy Blush Stick -07 Natural Rose- $7.94; beneath that are the Creamy Colour Comfort Lip Liner- $5.29 each, in 314- Marsala, 315- Intense Mauve, 316- Milk Chocolate.

Front right top- Unlimited Stylo lipstick- $7.94 each, 04- Pearly Rose Mauve and 05 Scarlet Red.

All of the lip liners are creamy and have a vanilla scent like Charlotte Tilbury.

The blush actually dries to a powdery finish; it's not tacky at all.  It does have a mild floral powdery scent.

Those Unlimited Styloes- I washed my hands four times with Dawn dishwashing liquid to get rid of the swatches, but they are still on my hand!  A little worn, but not by much.  The liners held on for two washes, but the eyeshadows cleaned up easily.  They are very smooth, if light.
