Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

So you weren't missing an item in whatever your last order was? When was your last order? Sounds like you won a little glitch lottery then...they certainly don't send a GC for something going oos *before* you buy it (otherwise, I'd be rich 😂)

LOL! my last order was placed Jun 25 and I never called about a missing item. I checked my points to see if they were still there to make sure no one hacked my account. The recent gwp $80 tropical bags (pink, orange, and blue), I had one in my cart and I did notice that it was still showing up in "new arrivals' even after it was taken down from the main page.

Well, not calling is kinda my point...if Ulta runs out of a gwp that you ordered, they send an apology and gc automatically most of the time. Three weeks (from your Jun 25th order) is on the longer end of the timeframe, but still entirely possible. That's my best guess for what happened here...perhaps something was missing but you didn't even realize it. Or...you got on their "automatic apology list" by happy accident. 

All three of the tropical bags were taken out of my cart as they went oos...really, I promise, this has nothing to do with that. Ulta would go out of business if they paid folks for items that went OOS before they even bought them.

When I've gotten them from ebates I never had a problem.

It's not something they always do. Sometimes I get offered those instead of checks and sometimes I don't.

@StTropezBarbie  I have. I actually received mine for the exact same reason. It was very easy to redeem (there should be a code you input at checkout).

@StTropezBarbie  I emailed CS to report the error in my GWP order and they replied with just sending me the link to the E gift card via email.

The sample bag was really weak this time; 2 foil samples of primers and of course one is the smashbox one. The gwp bag looks good. I wish I would have waited and gotten one of the stackable gwps.

OH NOES!!!  My latest Ulta package is being sent via Lasership!!! 😞   I have only had bad experiences with these guys (packages marked as "delivered" but nowhere in sight) to the point where I'm considering saying goodbye to online orders and exclusively shopping in-store instead. 

At least Sephora lets you opt out by specifically choosing USPS for delivery....does anyone know of any Ulta workarounds for these Lasership bozos?

I, too, have only had bad experiences with Lasership.  I did not know about the ability to avoid it at Sephora.  Please tell me how!  Thanks for your post.

@iwantitfree it was a life saver when I realized Sephora had that option!  in your shopping cart after you click "Checkout", there'll be a place where you can edit your shipping options.  Pick option 3 (USPS Priority) and make sure to click "Save & Continue".  You have to do that for every order since it always defaults to *shudder* Lasership.
