Let's keep this thread on topic!
Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):
Item #1 - $53.50
Item #3 - $108.50 (and is eligible for a certain item/brand 5x multiplier)
* There is also a 5x all purchase multiplier and you are platinum so you get 1.25x
Total Spent - $162
Base Points Earned - 162
Platinum .25x Earned - 41 (162 * .25 = 40.5, and rounding up)
5x All Purchases Earned - 648 (it ends up being 4x because you don't count the base points)
5x Item/Brand Earned - 434
Total Points Earned - 1285
Links are not allowed. In lieu of links, please read this:
Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.
Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.
The product id is the number given to the item in the URL. So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number. If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta.
It's not a search, but the direct url to the page.
Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar. It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204 Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.
My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:
(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward. E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward. Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase. Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.
Multiplier | 1 | 1.25 | 1.5 | 2 | 2.25 | 2.5 | 3 | 3.25 | 3.5 | 4 | 4.25 | 4.5 | 5 | 7.25 | 7.5 | 8 | 8.25 | 8.5 | 9 | 9.25 | 9.5 | 10 | 10.25 | 10.5 |

The Ulta oils are up. There are several essential oils, a few blends, and 4 carrier oils. Looks interesting!
Well this was good timing! I added the Don't Stress and Goodnight Sleeptight oil blends to my order. I'm going thru a migraine cycle, and I know a lot of people swear by essential oils, so this is a somewhat inexpensive way to try them out especially with the 20% off. Thanks for posting @RGbrown :).
@MelBeez I use a combo of Lush's Sleepy lotion and also This Works pillow spray. I don't believe in miracle products, some days the lotion had worked on it's own and others I needed an extra spritz on my pillow. Together they all do their part for me to get some shut eye 🙂 let us know how your oils work out! i love trying out new products to help me sleep, I always have such a hard time shutting down at night, and melatonin does not agree with me...
@MelBeez I like REN's spray, but I don't put it on my pillows. I spray it on the curtains or my fabric headboard. Then I'm out like a light. Let us know how your combo works though! REN CLEAN SKINCARE - And Now to Sleep Pillow Spray
--COVERED THANK YOU --
Does anyone have a spare 20% off they aren't using? I filled my cart and used mine, but realized I still want more (do you think I have a problem?) yes. huge. TIA!

(S&G beauty break is still available for now as well)
@RGbrown I unfortunately can't heart at the moment but thanks for always being speedy on these!
Eh, no problem. It's a sign of having no life, really 😂
Soap & Glory beauty break is up
Pimprod 2005537
Last year, there were two Beauty Breaks this coming week. Here are some upcoming BBs: 4pc Soap & Glory, 5pc Benefit, & 4pc Lancome. There was a Lancome BB on Monday last year, so that may go live tomorrow.
The second Spring Haul sampler will probably go live on Tuesday, like last week.
And there may be a tote with a $40 fragrance purchase on Sunday.
Five new brands:
Coming soon:
They are also adding some essential oils:
Thanks for posting @ohheyitscindyk . I am curious about the essential oils!
@ohheyitscindyk Thank you; these are very interesting additions! I'm anxious to check the quality of Ulta's essential oils.
VDL! I have a sample of their primer; I'm going to have to try it soon!
@Ispend2much6 VDL! I’ve been waiting to see some lip swatches and order the primer too! What do you think of it?! So happy for this for my 20% off possibly!
@Sunnysmom I forgot about the lip colors!! I haven't tried the primer yet. I'm going to try to find it today and I'll report back here (I'll tag you.) All I remember it having some shimmer and a scent.
Yes @Ispend2much6 I’ve had some in my cart forever it seems since they were released! And wondered about primers too as the original seems to be very opalescent vs warmer on other more moisturizing one. What’s a girl to do! Lol. 🤷🏻♀️Will be good to hear your thoughts tho my skin is older than yours!! Lol.
@Sunnysmom Maybe so, but not by much, and you can't tell. I now have your hair color though. Grabbed the top box of hair coloring from my shelves, and it was deep cool black, not dark ash brown. I have no idea why I bought that, but it must have been a long time ago. It'll be fun trying to go back to brown.
Okay, there is a floral scent to the Lumilayer Primer that does not go away when I washed my hand with Dawn dishwashing soap. Very strong!
I applied a half-pea size on my hand, and spread it kind of thickly. What I see is a strong frosty pink shift, much like a highlighter. For some reason the frostiness is not showing. It would be lessened if I had spread it more normally, but not much. Not for warm skin tones, I think. This is the only primer of theirs I have.
@Ispend2much6 Hmm is it sticky?! Do u like it or not so much. That smell tho. Not sure about that. Patchouli too or no. If natural lavender I love it. If artificial nope. Thanks for your very important work! 😘😘😉
@Sunnysmom You're welcome. It's not sticky. I haven't tried it on my face because I'm afraid I'll have an asthma attack. I can't find a description of the fragrance, but I would consider it artificially floral. Here are the ingredients:
Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Butylene Glycol, Peg-10 Dimethicone,Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide(Ci 77891), Magnesium Sulfate, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Sorbitan Sesquiisostearate, Panthenol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Phenoxyethanol,1, 2-Hexanediol, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate,Stearic Acid, Tin Oxide
The primers that I really like are Armani's Light Master Primer, Rouge Bunny Rouge's Prelude in the Clouds Aqua Primer, and Hourglass's two primers.
Interesting @Ispend2much6 thank you. It’s funny too how much the fragrance can influence what I buy. I’ve become much more conscious of it. Tho I don’t always like none either. Agree- I love Rouge BR and also Becca Priming Filter and Tom Ford. I’m fussy as we all are I’m sure! Thanks again! 😘
