Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@niki172  This photo is super helpful! As much as I love the concept of Disney villains lipsticks (I mean, it looks like the lipsticks are even stamped with “VILLAINS” instead of the usual CP Lux stars), now I can see I really seriously don’t need any of those shades. I absolutely have dupes for the ones that interest me, and some of those dupes are other CP Luxes (not just the Princess collection). 

I’m kinda bummed CP didn’t include at least a couple “unconventional” lipstick shades in this collection. Ursula should be a bold purple and Maleficent is a missed opportunity for a smoky teal or forest green, dang it! Sure, those colors are very obvious choices, but c’mon CP, I know you can bust out some great less-normal Lux shades! Sigh...

@WinglessOne that's what a lot of people were bummed about in a lot of comment sessions. For example they said that Hades should have been a blue shade but it's not. I know that Disney has a firm control over what shades are released so IDK if they just thought that would be "too edgy" or what. I mean I understand Cruella having a red lip, but I could also see you having a purple for Ursala (even though her lips were red in the movie). I'm still picking one up for collection purpose, but I totally understand people being bummed.

@niki172  True: if working with Disney on a beauty collab is anything like working with Apple on marketing their product launches, then I can see how ColourPop might not have much creative license here. And sure, there’s always the eyeshadow palette and highlighters to bring in non-neutral/conventional pops of color. But for the lipstick junkies among us *ahem*, especially those of us who own some of CP’s more “unconventional” Lux shades (Getty is the best dark teal bullet on the market), it sure would’ve been nice to have more fun Villians lipstick shades. 

I haven’t looked at any comments on this collection yet, aside from here at BIC. But I’m not surprised that many other folks have the same feedback. I do still plan to see if I can find this collection at one of my local Ultas, so I can play with it in person, because I can’t help myself. 😄

I wonder if these are going to launch tomorrow on Ulta as well and at what time. The problem is that I've watched the videos, and I've been picking and choosing what I want and, none of the items are in just one set. So far I want 1 lippie, 2 highlighters, 2 glosses, and the palette.

BTW on the Colourpop YT video in the comment section people aren't having it with this set. They say that the palette looks too much like the Perception palette, and other things that they've done before.

Hi @niki172 . I went to ulta today to buy the bareminerals bronzer and i saw the sign at the register that the villains collection is almost here and will be instore 3/21 when they open 😀.

@niki172 Pictures were added this morning, so I feel like they should be going live tomorrow as well... I doubt they'd do the normal midnight CST time, right, considering they won't even be going live on Colourpop's site until noon CST? I guess we'll have to see.

@ohheyitscindyk other than a bb have you ever seen a product launch in the middle of the day on ulta's website? I'll be at work so IDK if I can handle 2 screens and people :D. Maybe it's best to just shop CP, but it's a bummer because there's stuff I want at Ulta too (not to mention I have their CC and points lol). We shall see 🙂

Yup, Ulta does throw some new stuff up on the site during the day sometimes. I have no idea how tied they are to the 10am PT launch time though. Ulta IT is less than stellar at so many things, so I wouldn't be surprised if this stuff shows up early (or late...)

The Ursula set and Maleficent lipstick will definitely be coming home to me. My sensible side says no to the palette but my inner villain says "come to me, my pretty" 😈

Does anyone know for sure if Ulta is getting the full collection or just the palette? I know just the palette was in their flyer, so that's confirmed.

@crystalcake I just saw a post where someone said that Ulta will sell the lipsticks separately. I haven't found any links for them, but I figured I'd let you know, just in case 🙂
