Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Just broke the "best use of points redemption" rule and redeemed 1300 points for 9 of the body shop almond body butters (I'll split them with my neice).   I really didn't want or need anything else and didn't want to miss out on them.  

Ulta has some of the body shop body butters for half price and buy 2 get 1 free (ends up being 3 for $21).  These are my all time favorites and are great for my dry skin.

Almond, honey, pina colada, banana and peach are on sale.

FYI - Best use of points redemption is 2000.

Definitely can see the wisdom in (2)1000 point spends vs 2K if you are going for 2 gwp/BB that you really want. The values are generally higher than the $25 value in points you give up, especially since that is split between 2 ($12.50 or greater value each redemption = winning) Great idea, thank you ladies!

I have plenty of points, but tend to feel a bit guilty when I don't use them in groups of 2000.  But, this year, I'm working on just buying (or using points on) what I need and actually want.

I agree with @Alicehoopz...sure, 2000 is the best dollar value, but sometimes 1000 makes more sense. Whatever works for you! (And nice deal on the body butter!)

I think 1000 points can be better in some instances! For example, redeeming 2000 with products you didn't need/aren't going to use isn't necessarily better. And redeeming at 1000 twice means you could get two beauty breaks. That depends on the value of the GWPS for you personally.

I do generally love the benefit bags, and their brow products are great. Just wish they had a choice on brow color, but I'm guessing it's #3 medium brown. I calculated around $30 value plus whatever the bag is worth. (Sizes listed were smaller than minis) The upcoming Strivectin beauty break that @ohheyitscindyk posted looks good too with the extra step-up item.

If you like the Benefit Gimme Brow, try Ulta Beauty Brow Tint @alexalicious. I found it inside an Ulta GWP bag and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. My biggest problem is covering the random grey hairs that do not seem to accept hair color anytime I attempt to dye them. I stock up when Ulta has the buy 2 get 2 free offer.

That's a great cleanser for dry skin/light makeup wear. It's kind of difficult for other uses though. I tried it as a second step in cleansing and it didn't remove the first cleanser; as a first step it doesn't remove heavy makeup. Works best on it's own with light makeup/no makeup (great for the no makeup days)

Quick question: I have the Strivectin Daily Beauty Steal in my cart (have everything set up to use $125 in points), but I was really hoping for a GWP or Beauty Break. Should I hold out? Or is this Beauty steal likely to sell out quickly? It is a neck cream, normally $95 but now $47.50
