Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):
Item #1 - $53.50
Item #3 - $108.50 (and is eligible for a certain item/brand 5x multiplier)
* There is also a 5x all purchase multiplier and you are platinum so you get 1.25x
Total Spent - $162
Base Points Earned - 162
Platinum .25x Earned - 41 (162 * .25 = 40.5, and rounding up)
5x All Purchases Earned - 648 (it ends up being 4x because you don't count the base points)

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.
Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.
The product id is the number given to the item in the URL. So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number. If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta.
It's not a search, but the direct url to the page.
Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar. It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204 Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.
My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:
(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward. E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward. Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase. Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

That really stinks, @sarahshter I hope Ulta is able to make it right for you. In the past, when I've had similar issues, they've issued me refunds or credits. It might depend a bit on the what exactly the free items are in different orders and if they're easily replaceable. I would think the foundation would be! Best of luck!
I've had that happen in the last Days Of Beauty event... the Mario Badescu facial spray had spilt over everything (about 3 items), including my Anastasia Brow Whiz. I called and they reshipped everything, and told me I could keep what I could rescue. Super nice!
And one time I got a rude CS rep for another issue... I said, fine, thanks anyway, hung up and called back the next day.. got someone super nice and issue resolved. 😁 Just gotta try a couple of times.
So sorry @sarahshter!!! I have this happen ALL of the time with Ulta, they have a serious issue with packaging things correctly and I’ve reached out maybe a dozen times to ask them to correct the issue. Once I received a box that looks like it got run through a shredder, (assumed it was something to do with their automated processing) I contacted them because I hoped to alarm them about a potential issue with their machinery and they were unphased!!!
In my experiences it will it’ll go one of two ways, they’ll either reship your entire order and try to accommodate with the gwp/freebies they have on hand or they will refund your purchases and send you a gift card for the destroyed gwp/for the hassle. A lot of it depends on who answers your customer service request, but usually they are more than accommodating! I will say the last time it happened left a pretty bitter taste in my mouth- I bought into one of the $175/higher gwps that claimed to have 7 full size products and listed them out plus the others. The value was something like $200 for those 7 products and was the complete reason I made the order. I received only two of the promised full size products, one of which was the cheapest item offered- an Ulta brand lip gloss that I’ll never use. At the end of the day they offered me a $40 gift card, but as nice as that was it still frustrated me because it was no where near the value of the missing products. I don’t get upset when they run out freebies, it’s nice enough that they have such promotions, but I felt like I paid a lot to receive this promotion and would have liked if they honored the posted products and value. Makes me weary of ordering from them with gwp’s because they clearly have a warehouse issue with proper packaging and potential theft.
... also makes me weary due to my recent fraudulent experience with them!!!
Best advice- call/email customer service and provide photos/details! If you don’t like the first response, (especially if you email first) I’d try calling into customer service and trying to find a helpful rep over the phone. I’ve definitely had a super nice woman take pity on me and help deal with an issue in the past - and she took it to her supervisor, issue was totally cleared up in three minutes!! Don’t be deterred if you don’t find the nicest customer service person at first, just try again they’ve got some amazing and dedicated people you just have to find them. Good luck! 👍 😊
@sarahshter I once had an Ulta package delivered totally destroyed and it included a GWP that was no longer available. Nothing major, it was a DS Urban Decay lipstick, not a Beauty Break or anything, but since it couldn’t be replaced I was sent a gift card instead. The gift card was worth more than the item so that was cool! They also sent a replacement product rush delivery and it arrived in perfect condition.
Good luck, though I'm sure they'll take care of you. I've only had two packages out of more than I care to think about that arrived with leaked products. Ulta handled both amazingly! FWIW, since then, they've started taping down fliptop lids & putting products that could leak in plastic bags. Ditto for Sephora, who were super helpful after receiving a shampoo that leaked over other items & my clothes. (I'm a firm believer in feedback not only to receive replacements, etc., but also to try to make a difference in how items are packaged.) @sarahshter
@sarahshter I was able to get it resolved really quickly over the phone. If you don’t want to wait for an email response, they should be able to help you that way. I took pictures, but they weren’t needed. Hopefully everything gets sorted out for you!

I got that code too and I'm eyeing Winky Lux since I love their teensy Charm highlighter. If anyone's interested, this one's def for fairer skin tones & those who don't need high shimmer. Reviews say it's chalky, but it's not, just a light, natural-looking highlight that won't emphasize pores or fine lines.
