Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

I have quite a few point multipliers right now, but I'm trying to hold out from making any huge purchases because isn't next month when Ulta does the 10x points day? 

I know it's still a ways away, but does anybody have any guesses what day that will fall on?  I'm just curious and as an independent girl on a budget I try to strategize my purchases.....lol. 

I also was curious if anyone is familiar with how many points you're allowed to use at one time and how many points they'll allow you to have?  I have $125 in points now, but I'm trying to hold out for another 20% coupon and I was thinking of maybe trying to get another $125 in points.

I had a 20% off coupon on 8/22 because I had applied for the Ulta credit card and it comes with one.

Let me see, I applied for that card 7/22 and the coupon just totally luckily was valid through 8/22. I was waiting for the card to arrive in the mail so I could have my card numbers and use the 20% off online. Until the card arrived in the mail, I could have gone in store, had them look up my new credit line, and used my Ulta credit card that way, but I wanted to order online. The card barely arrived in time.

I've been tempted many times to sign up for the credit card particularly because that 20% coupon doesn't have limitations what so ever if I'm not mistaken.  That would be amazzzingg about lining up a 20% off coupon with the 10x points day and I hadn't thought of that.  I'm going to try and have self-control but we will see how that goes, lol!  thank you again 🙂

I checked my order history and I believe there was a 10x multiplier day on 8/22 last year and then a 20% coupon and GWP lip bag on 8/31.

On 10/2 there was a 20% off general merchandise coupon and a GWP bag.

I believe you can only redeem $125 worth of points at a time.

I do not believe there will be an overlap of 20% off coupon and a 10x multiplier.  (Someone, correct me if I'm wrong!)  I think the best you can hope for is a 20% off coupon and a 5x multiplier on a specific brand.  Again, I think the best time to make a purchase will be the end of August when they mail out the 20% off coupons.

It always falls on the 4th Monday in August, so my prediction is 08/28/17. They could be like Sephora and switch it up just to throw us off though. The 2016 event seemed to include more than the 2015 event, but it is still a far cry from what 2014 brought (no limitations). Prior to 2014, some people were still on the old program. It only rolled out in select cities in 2013, so I do not think there was an event that year. 

Items that are eligible for 5x points are not included in the 10x points offers and Ulta usually prevents those with anniversaries from getting their 5x offer that week. Those with birthdays in August will still get a slight bump though.

I appreciate your help.  I may save up so that I can make a purchase on the 10x day and then make another one (and use my points then) when the 20% coupons mail out at the end of August.  Have I mentioned how much I love BT?!  haha.  @itscarin

Or not, it won't affect me because I will be shopping at 10pm PST on the night before 😉
