Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Oh, I know they go quick the last few months. Wasn't nearly this bad the end of last year that I can recall. I'm not on a typical schedule though...I'm just getting up around 10 and typically have a couple of things to do before I can get around to ulta, which makes grabbing one of these difficult. Heck, this time around, I had a cart ready (I had assumed $50 last night, so I had to adjust that a bit to meet $60), but when I went to check out, the item I wanted to buy was OOS. Sigh. There is no winning for me lately lol😂

Not sure if anyone would know the answer to this but is the birthday month 2x points multiplier something that you need to activate or is it automatic? Ulta sent me an email on May 1 saying I would get 2x points since it is my birthday month but when I go to My Bonus Offers it just lists the 5x Lipstick Queen and 5x Fragrance. There was nothing to click through on the original email, either.

It should just be automatic - mine was last month and I never did anything and I definitely had the multiplier applied.

Thank you @ohheyitscindyk! I didn't see it posted prior. I was just wondering when they were going to do another hair event. I'm running a bit low on my Kenra volume shampoo. I also have my eye on a specific curler set. They don't have specials for the day like they do for the beauty events do they? I can't remember.....

Anyways off to the internet to see if anyone has extra spoilers posted for the sale 🙂

I don't know exactly what criteria they use, but I made more purchases than that, and received the Lipstick Queen multiplier. I did not receive the 5x fragrance that gingerleigh received a few days ago though. Who knows how they choose...

And FYI, in case you didn't know, even if you didn't get an email, you can check your bonus offers by logging into your account. It'll be at the bottom of your transaction history. Each offer has to be activated, so be sure to check it out before ordering. 🙂

Thanks.  I did know that and checked my account prior to posting.  I got the Pure Grace multiplier but not the fragrance multiplier.  And I had ordered fragrance earlier this year.

Check your bonus offers, I just got a 5x on fragrance. Layered it with the 5x i already had on various brands' skincare/bath, because Philosophy was included in that 5x offer.

Was able to score 9.25x points on Philosophy Pure Grace Summer Surf Hair and Body Refresher 8 oz, and Pure Grace Summer Surf Softening Cleanser for Hair and Body 16 oz.

Oh and I got the tote as well

I redeemed 1000 points and still got back over 500 thanks to the point multipliers. This is how I redeem points now, I try to wait for something I want that I have a great multiplier or two on, and I don't lose all the points after all. I think this works out better than saving up 2000 pts.

I got $50 off my order for about net 412 pts, which is about $25 worth of points in a 2000 pt/ $125 redemption. And only about $16ish of points in a 400 pt redemption.

It seems to be important to have a balance left over after the point redemption lowers the total. I think I tried this before with a total that added up exactly to $50, and I didn't see any bonus points.

You can play around with this by going most of the way through checkout to see how many points the order is going to get you...most people know that, I'm sure.

(These figures are really inexact because it is just so late.)

Also get to redeem more often, and don't have as much problem with out-of-stock items or settling for things I don't want as much etc.

((Maybe a glitch because I don't remember it working the same way in store.))

Point breakdown is like this: 5x fragrance + 5x skincare + .25x for platinum, minus 1 base pt from the second bonus offer, this ends up being 9.25x instead of 10.25x
