Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Anyone else not receive the clinique eye cream code? I'm platinum, and have gotten all the other codes lately, but of course not this one which I really want.

Anyone know if ulta will fix this for me, or if anyone has one they aren't going to use could you PM it to me?

i didn't receive it either. i've noticed that some codes are only sent to some people. 😕 it's really annoying, especially when you're platinum and buy a lot of stuff all the time.

Q: are the in-store coupon UPCs individualized or universal? I assume people would not post them if they were personal, but just checking. Also, do they only work if you're platinum?

Most coupons are universal - you can tell because it's a shorter barcode, only 12 numbers

Individual ones usually start with a P in the barcode if I remember correctly. It's a longer code.

There are platinum exclusives, meaning you have to be platinum in order to use the discount or receive the gwp.

Thanks! Does anyone know if this is a Platinum exclusive or is there any number sequence/letter that indicates? If so, I'll use my sister's. 😛 I'll never reach $450 at ULTA; I'm there for NYX and Shape Tape.

That said, the most recent Platinum Perks I can think of were the Benefit bag set and Estee Lauder set last week, and those were online only IIRC. Folks here are good about listing which ones Ulta designates as Platinum Perks. I think you should be fine with any of the current active freebies.

Some of the basic patterns of Ulta q's:

12 digit, all numbers (like it Cosmetics and Clinique samples below): in-store, generic q's, anyone can use, and codes are not unique.

19-20 digit, usually starts with P, mix of letters and numbers for the rest: in-store, unique code. (the free Ulta hand soap coupon has a code like this, which is why no one has posted it here)

10-11 digits, usually starts with 3, mix of letters and numbers for the rest: online, unique code. 

There are other online codes that spell a word or phrase related to the discount or promo; these may be more or less than 11 digits. Examples would be sonagasparian and madeyewlook from recent GWP bag promos, or NYMLOVESULTA (recent coupon for $1 off any Not Your Mother's hair care). These are generic and can be used by anyone (and usually multiple times, though Ulta can and has restricted some codes to where they only work once per account).

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this question but I got sent my birthday gift coupon to redeem. Do I have to purchase something or can I just walk in and redeem it? This is my first time getting the birthday coupon (even though I've been a member for years now) so I'm kind of new to this.
