Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):
Item #1 - $53.50
Item #3 - $108.50 (and is eligible for a certain item/brand 5x multiplier)
* There is also a 5x all purchase multiplier and you are platinum so you get 1.25x
Total Spent - $162
Base Points Earned - 162
Platinum .25x Earned - 41 (162 * .25 = 40.5, and rounding up)
5x All Purchases Earned - 648 (it ends up being 4x because you don't count the base points)
5x Item/Brand Earned - 434
Total Points Earned - 1285

Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.
Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.
The product id is the number given to the item in the URL. So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number. If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta.
It's not a search, but the direct url to the page.
Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar. It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204 Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.
My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:
(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward. E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward. Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase. Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@Sodayui My daughter doesn't get Platinum emails for some reason, so we had to call to have CS send her code, too. Her code had the same 12/24/16 expiration date, but we were able to use it with no problem. Hope yours works the same way! 😊
@Tamara76 Thanks! I guess they just applied the old template last year without correction! And somehow I placed 3 orders with this code and it's still working!!! I remembered you posted a couple pages ago that your code is only good for one-time use, maybe you could try your daughter's code (as we both got it through the CS), maybe it would work multiple times!

Actually I did receive emails from ulta, including this platinum bag (about 1 hour later than the first post here), but with NO promo code (instead my email comes with the benefit duffel bag).......I did ask them before to re-set my account as I've never receive any freebies. After they did that, I did receive some of the freebies.....Like last week I only received living proof & UD mascara. When I called them about this issue, they told me it's just a random selection as they don't have enough sample for every customer~ BUT luckily we have this thread with some lovely people!! YEAH! 😛
@Sodayui Yessss I still rely heavily on this community for my deals. I also only get some of the coupons, but I am grateful to all the people who contribute to these boards. I'm glad you were able to get the coupon from CS!
@Glitternoodle Haha, I even blame myself for discovering this community too late!!! The CS is pretty experienced this time, I got my code in a flash!
@Tamara76 @Sodayui I had the same problem when I first made Platinum with Ulta. I contacted them via online message and after a couple of tries, they reset my account. That worked for me and allowed me to get the emails from then on. (Actually had the problem with Sephora when I made Rouge as well and followed the same steps with results). I think this gets the IT dept involved which is where I assume the problem might be better solved. Just be persistent with them if it does not solve the problem. I think if I remember correctly it took a few tries with both until it was finally resolved.
Thanks @Glitternoodle! Yeah - she doesn't get Rouge emails,either, and I've called Ulta and the Rouge line several times, but all they have done is reset her email preferences, which doesn't work.
I had a problem with my Sephora emails 2 years ago and they had to escalate to Marketing IT, but I was calling and emailing every day. I don't have the energy to do that again. 😞
For now, since I get notifications, I can call them for certain promos on her behalf.... and once she feels more comfortable calling them herself, I'll let her do the legwork. 🙂
Yeah, I wen't back and checked and I had several e-mails back and forth with Ulta until I got results. As long as one of you gets the emails and you can get your promos, I guess that works.
