Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Wow your bag is fairly different from everyone else's, I'm surprised. It seemed like everyone was by default getting abh. I hope in the end some of the stuff works out for you 🙂

this is the same bag I got. I really wanted the ABH gloss too. I tried the Sugar Shine Hair Scrub (this was after looking up how to use it). I don't really notice a difference, but I do like the smell!

Awww, this is why I am always hesitant to go for the mystery bags. I really would have loved to get the first bag that was posted here. I really regretted not getting this bag because of the LG highlighter and the ABH. However I think the Too Faced and the Lancome are nice enough to make this a decent bag. It seems as though overall there were no out right dud bags, which is nice. I hope you enjoy your goodies!!

@ZombieMetroAnt When I was in picking up a gift the other day I mentioned that I hadn't gotten any freebie e-mails like I usually do and they gave me a couple free mascaras. 

I always got them before but haven't gotten any since my e-mails stopped and had to be reset.

Does anyone know of any perks or gift with purchases in stores like the gift bags they give out online? 🙂 I'm from Canada and can't order online from ulta but I live near the border and will be driving down to use my 20% off.

I'm not a master of ulta GWP.  If you're shopping in store, you can show them the in-store redemption coupons and see what happens.  As ZombieMA mentioned, we haven't received any freebie emails in awhile.  All the ones we do have are expired by now.  I would still roll up with the expired coupons and see what happens.  Sometimes they let you redeem them for $.01.  I tried this at a store outside of philadelphia and the item rang up as $10.00 instead of a $.01.  Needless to say I didn't take them up on that offer.

Has anyone had a purchase severely delayed? 

Im at an awkward crossroads where mommy and daddy keep blaming each other, but won't give solutions. 

I ordered my Ulta package on 12/11 and it said it shipped 12/14 with an arrival of 12/17. Its now supposedly coming this Friday (which is REALLY BAD because I'm going to be out of town for weeks and there's nobody I know that can get my package for me. That's why I ordered 2 weeks in advance of my departure). 

Called ulta, they did absolutely nothing to help me or apologize, they just kept blaming ups for not handling my package appropriately and told me to call. Called ups and they said U dropped the ball and didn't deliver the package to UPS until 12/19, so it's not UPS fault...

what the heck do I do?!? I'm quite nervous that my package will get stolen since I'm going to be gone for a bit. And even worse is that it had my 8 piece surprise gift bag inside...I was really looking forward to that and made my purchase because of it...

@pinyo, if you don't have an account already, set up one with UPS My Choice. There's a free version and a premium ($40/year) one. Under the free membership version, go to UPS My Choice tag, and you'll see a calendar with upcoming UPS packages. You should see the Ulta one there. You can click on the Ulta one and there will be a Change Delivery option. For no cost, you can ask that delivery be changed to a UPS access point. If you don't mind paying, you can have the package delivered to another address or delay its delivery to you. If I were you, I'd use the Change Delivery to UPS access point. Then it won't come to your home at all and you can pick it up when you get home.

THank you! I had no clue this existed. Do you know how long ups access point will hold onto the package? Or if a friend can pick it up on my behalf?

@pinyo If I call the store they will usually hold longer than 5 days. I'm not sure if someone else can pick up, it wouldn't hurt to call. I've always had to show ID to pick up.

UPS can hold it for up to 5 days and a friend can pick it up if they have a letter authorizing them to pick it up on your behalf. They should also have the tracking number on the letter too. I've used My UPS for years now, and I as well can vouch that it's super useful to know when a package will be delivered or for changing the delivery options!

Sorry I don't know how long they hold it. I just got on My Choice recently so am just learning it. I don't think a friend could pick up the package as ID is needed to pick it up. You can always pay (I think the cost is $4-8?) to have it delivered to your friend. I'd just have it go to a UPS site myself and pick it up when I got home, but that's me...

@pinyo I placed on order on 12/9 and it finally got here today. Originally it had estimated delivery date of 12/16-17, and i received the shipment confirmation on 12/10, but it actually didn't ship out until 12/14 from their facility. I was super upset and called on the 15th and they really didn't do anything except apologize. I basically told the guy, "Well, it's not my problem that Ulta forgot to ship it out and I needed my stuff the week it was supposed to be delivered, not almost 3 weeks later." So the guy then put me on hold an eventually told me he would give me a store credit of $10. I would call back, speak to someone else, and tell them something about the delay. They've obviously been dropping the ball with some of their orders.

That's quite frustrating that it's not just happening to me. I'll call them again and see if they'll credit me or something. It's ridiculous! When you tell your customers a week, it should be a week (ish). Not give or a take an extra business week (or 2!) lol. 

I love that ultas reward and gwp system is on pointttttt. But if you can't meet basics like arrival by X date...it makes it a whole lot less inticing to shop lol

@pinyo hhm, maybe because of the holiday season?  My 12/11 order is scheduled to arrive on 12/23 - this too includes my 8-pc surprise bag.

Have you tried asking the post office to hold your mail?  I've done that before when I've traveled and thankfully nothing has gotten lost.

I'm going to see if I can do that. My only concern about that is when would I ever be able to pick it up haha. Gotta love their open hours.
