ULTA: 21 Days (of Beauty) Sale Event Thread

As many know, ULTA hosts multiple 21 day sales events per year where select items are on flash-sale for 24 hours at (usually) 50% off. This sales event goes on for 21 days (3 weeks) and each day new sales items are up for grabs. Personally, as a savvy shopper this is one of the events I watch closely for and like to plan ahead for since many times there are some truly best selling products offered up for 50% off.

This can be a great time of year to look out for those sought after products at a huge discount, introduce yourself to new products that you don't want to pay full price for (because now you don't have to) and stock up on some old time favorites. I have yet to see a thread made for this particular event and I thought it would be nice to have one dedicated solely to beauty that is the 21 days of beauty sale event. This is the place to discuss what you're looking forward to stocking up on, what you will be skipping and what you're going to take the plunge and finally buy this sales event!

I wasn't going to purchase this but I'm intrigued because I've always liked Charcoal masks and I need something more geared towards oil control and making my pores smaller. I've been trying charcoal sheet masks without much luck, but recently I've been really liking Origins products... so I decided "when in Rome" (or "when shopping 21 days" haha) this might be the perfect time to give it an honest try. 🙂

I purchased two of the lip polishes from BUXOM, I own a ton (almost all) of the lip creams and love them so much. I decided to pick up the limited edition Dolly Glitz right as the sale dropped, which was a good call because it was sold out within the next hour. I'm excited to get my hands on it, I already own the Dolly Glamourtini (other limited edition release) but I'm glad I'll get to try out the sparkle version. I also purchased the clear sparkly Dominique polish, I figured this would be a good "everyday" and "basic" snag. 🙂 Most of these were sold out by 7pm Eastern Standard Time, so it's safe to say these went quite quickly.

I had my eyes on this the last 21 days sale since my skin LOVES retinol and I'm looking for some more "night focused" eye masks for myself. Unfortunately, last time by the time I woke up in the early morning these were all sold out, so this time I decided I needed to act immediately. I'm excited to give these a go, because lord knows I love me some eye masks and I've heard really good things about these in particular. Might get another quantity of these since I actually wanted the 30 pair count, however they are not on sale this time around (only the 15 ct are discounted, at least on my end). Not sure if this is a glitch or not but 15 pairs isn't going to last long around me, 😂

I'm actually surprised that I bought this because I haven't purchased a palette in a hot minute. The only reason I purchased this is because I want to play around with a specific look that is pretty much 100% blue-based. Out of all the eyeshadow palettes I own, I never gravitate towards these colors rendering me empty handed in the blue color department. I do have a few palettes that have a blue here and there but not quite what I'm looking for in the particular look that I'm going for. This palette instantly caught my eye because it includes some of the colors I need and a few others that I think I can get use of. For this price, it was not too much of a hit and this is my first NABLA palette so I'm very excited to give it a try 🙂

Ulta has been getting me this year during 21 days of beauty! I got the Tarte Shape Tape in the Ultra Creamy formula today which I am so excited to try. The regular shale tape is so amazing for full coverage, but I’m always down to try something dry skin friendly. Hope this performs just as well! I love the Buxom lip creams but I’m trying to be good 😂 Did you get anything today @QueenMarceline ?

@Mcakes I'm very stocked up on Tarte shape tape so I passed, I also have back-ups of all the buxom glosses I use from previous sales (I used to get 2 quantities of each color sometimes). I totally would snatch those if I didn't have 2 back-ups of each color I use frequently, they're usually on the 21 days sale so I figured I'd let other people get their hands on them this time. I own probably every color of the buxom glosses, it's an issue. 😁😂 hahah. I think I will get one of their "lip polishes" in a few days when it comes up on sale 🙂
