Target beauty deals

Granted, while a mega retailer in general, Target is certainly Sephora’s (and Ulta’s) little baby sister when it comes to beauty. Still, they do try, often offering unique brands and/or attractive discounts on brands we already know and love – and therefore they do deserve a little discussion in this all-inclusive beauty community. So let’s discuss!

P.S. I personally seem to recall brands like Laneige and Skinfix, which made their first appearance at Target before eventually repackaging and switching over to major players like Sephora. Do you have any such recollections? Please do share.

@civ2ru I just noticed that Sephora is no longer selling Obagi Clinical - but a quick Google search revealed that Target is!  I needed a new .5% retinol.  I think Sephora sold it for around $60, and Target is selling it for $48.80...plus there's a beauty promotion for a $10 gift card with $40 purchase.  Yippee!

@greeneyedgirl107 Yay, good ole Target delivered, and at a better price! 😊 My only suggestion, perhaps bookmark the product and check if the price should drop on 10/17?That’s when the week of their “select skincare deals” begins. As long as you’re within 14 days, you can request a price adjustment if the price drops.

@civ2ru Wow!  Thanks for the heads-up.  BTW, how would I request a price adjustment.  Last I knew, Target doesn't have a contact form online.  Would the live chat or toll free number be better?

@greeneyedgirl107 Sorry for the super late reply. My favorite way of getting a hold of Target CS is through chat. You can access it via their Contact Us page – but also if you just go to your Cart and sit on that page for a minute, a “Chat Now” button usually pops up.

Good thing to keep in mind this season – as they have “holiday match price guarantee” this year, so if you purchase anything from 10/10 through 12/24 and it later does on sale, you can request a price adjustment!!! Not limited to 14 days. So what I do now is place all my purchased items in Favorites and continue to monitor their pricing.

@greeneyedgirl107 Bummer! If it’s any consolation, Target usually has a blanket 20% off day for beauty and personal care during Cyber Monday week. Start building your cart – and I’ll be sure to post here when it goes live.

@civ2ru This IS exciting!  I don't have a red card, but the free shipping and 5% off is intriguing.  Of course my Target doesn't have an Ulta in it.  I looked online to see what COSRX they had, and was disappointed to see only two items.  I wonder how much from each line they'll really offer.  I also looked into Origins, and didn't see any of their makeup.  And personally, I could skip Clinique!

@greeneyedgirl107 No UaT stores in my whole state, either… But for in-between 20% off Ulta coupons, or when GWPs aren’t very enticing – and particularly on small purchases or on brands that rarely go on sale – 5% off and free shipping isn’t bad. RED card, imho, is a no-brainer if you shop at Target a lot, it also gives you 30 extra days for returns. You can get a debit or a credit RED card. I also imagine there eventually would be Circle (Target) offers that apply to UaT items, too.
