Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Welcome back to the deal sharing fun! Deals shared here may also be posted to my blog (same name as the thread) unless you write for BT only. If I share your deal, I will always thank you here. I will heart every deal I see (without an outside or cheat link) to acknowledge it.

Beautytalk (the forum) does not allow outside links. A heart with no comment means I already have the deal or am deciding not to list it. Please list the retailer (without the link or cheat link; dot com) if it is not mentioned in the picture. Mods come in more often when they see any type of link. Thanks for sharing (original deals and repeats are welcome)! Please also share any deal haul you want, especially mystery gifts.

Discussion is encouraged. A lot of questions come with certain deals or retailers. When I see questions I can answer, I will respond (unless the poster consistently ignores me or someone else already answered the complete question). I read all the main posts (so no need to tag me). If you're replying to a post that is not near the top of the thread and want me or a specific person to see it, please tag us.

If you're posting about something on sale at Sephora, please share it here:

I thought I edited this to leave a message here, but after reading some private messages, I realize it did not take. This time, I will make sure it does before I sign off. Instead of waiting until I can return to reading every message to return at all, I will just pop in on certain days. I hope everyone is doing well. For me, some days are better than others.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@lidovicky It is a dangerous extra temptation, especially when there's already a good sale!  I like to consider my payout money a freebie bonus to treat myself with though when it comes Smiley Very Happy

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

haha we all need to pamper ourselves once in a while "cough" everyday =)

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Hey @lidovicky

Ebates is awesome Smiley Very Happy It is basically a rebate site and is very simple to use.

The first thing that you need to do is create an account. When I first signed up they were giving away a $10 gift card once you made your first purchase. I believe they are still doing that but I'm not 100% sure.

You can also sign up through someone's link (a lot of youtubers talk about their link but just fyi everyone who has Ebates has a referral link!) and you will still get the gift card plus Ebates will credit the person $5 to their Ebates account. That is at no cost to you, just a nice incentive they give to refer people to their site. So if you would like my link, please let me know Smiley Wink I'd be happy to share Smiley Very Happy

Once you are all set up, just click on the store that you want to shop with. It will tell you what the percentage of cash back they are giving that day and it does vary quite a bit sometimes. As an example, Ulta is 15% cash back today!!

It is really important that you use the link from Ebates to shop. This is how they track your purchase and give you cash back credit for it! If you think you will forget to go through Ebates before you shop you can download their browser button.

Once you are re-directed by Ebates to the site of your choosing just shop as normal using that window and you are all set! It can take a couple of minutes after you purchase but it will update on your Ebates account under Shopping Trips.

You get paid once a quarter, not after every shopping trip. It can either be through a physical check or via PayPal. A couple of days before they send you your "Big Fat Check" they do give you the option to forego the check/PayPal in favor of a gift card to a select handful of stores. Sometimes they give you an extra percentage to these stores if you select the gift card over the payment.

I hope this answers your questions! If you have anymore feel free to tag me or send me a PM. I remember being confused and skeptical at first too so don't feel like you are bothering me at all with your questions lol. I get it! Been there and done that.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Wow omg thank you for the info! Yes!! I was so skeptical for months now haha

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I don't blame you at all for questioning their legitimacy lol. But I've been a happy customer since 2014 so I can say with confidence now that it really is as good as it seems Smiley Very Happy

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Gilt- Mac $25 off $75, just RSVP! Yay!!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Redeem by Fri 06/23/17. Plus, get a free Lash & Liner Duo ($40 value) with your purchase!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

This is for MAC, right?  I was getting excited for another coupon I could use for Tea Forte, lol.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Ispend2much6Yep. It's for Mac.  I just used it though Lord knows I don't need any more makeup.  PS, I love your username

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Thanks!  It's all too true. @Annaihk

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I don't understand how does this coupon work for MAC?

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@AnneMCC after you "RSVP"/redeem one on Gilt, they'll email you a promo code to apply directly on the MAC website. After you put in the code, the freebie is added to your cart and the discount is taken off your total.

There's some fine print too .. I think it doesn't work on gift cards, Viva Glam?, Goodbye sale items, etc

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Oh I see, i think. But how do I RSVP? thanks @whitepolkydots

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

i'll pm you the link! it's under Gilt City and looks like this to me @AnneMCC gilt.png

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I'm beginning to think that BeautyTalk doesn't full load for me because messages don't appear until 10 minutes after they're posted and I always end up repeating something that has literally just been said.  Le sigh.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@AnneMCCThe page to RSVP is here

Spoiler

You should see "RSVP" on the right side. Once you click that and put in your info, a voucher will be emailed to you.  You can then cut and paste the code from the voucher into the "Offer Code" section on the right hand panel of checkout page.

If you aren't a member of Gilt and cannot see the page, just sign up. It's free

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Man I am so tempted. I have been wanting to try the Elizabeth and James dry shampoo and it's 28$ at full price.

Edit: Sold out like 5 minutes later xD It's okay I'm trying to buy less things!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Among other things, there are Marchesa Voyage clothes at ridiculous prices, as well as E&J Nirvana Black dry shampoo and Briogeo hair mask.
