Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Welcome back to the deal sharing fun! Deals shared here may also be posted to my blog (same name as the thread) unless you write for BT only. If I share your deal, I will always thank you here. I will heart every deal I see (without an outside or cheat link) to acknowledge it.

Beautytalk (the forum) does not allow outside links. A heart with no comment means I already have the deal or am deciding not to list it. Please list the retailer (without the link or cheat link; dot com) if it is not mentioned in the picture. Mods come in more often when they see any type of link. Thanks for sharing (original deals and repeats are welcome)! Please also share any deal haul you want, especially mystery gifts.

Discussion is encouraged. A lot of questions come with certain deals or retailers. When I see questions I can answer, I will respond (unless the poster consistently ignores me or someone else already answered the complete question). I read all the main posts (so no need to tag me). If you're replying to a post that is not near the top of the thread and want me or a specific person to see it, please tag us.

If you're posting about something on sale at Sephora, please share it here:

I thought I edited this to leave a message here, but after reading some private messages, I realize it did not take. This time, I will make sure it does before I sign off. Instead of waiting until I can return to reading every message to return at all, I will just pop in on certain days. I hope everyone is doing well. For me, some days are better than others.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@shirleylin88when did you get your ebates cash back? I ordered a few days ago and it shipped, but I still haven't seen anything about my rebate yet.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

I shopped pretty late at night and mine had posted by the next morning. Thank you to whoever alerted this thread to the deal! I talked myself into my silliest, most extravagant purchase: Cle de Peau cotton squares! I always buy the Shiseido but these...come in a fancy box. LOL

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

ohhh please give us a review - I love the Shiseido but sometimes it's hard justifying spending the $$... I guess it is luxury cotton.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Hi @Monikay mine posted immediately (maybe a couple hours later) - did your order ship???

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Monikay mine both posted a couple hours after my order.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Hey @shirleylin88 can you scale back on the Spring & Ebates referral posts? I get that you want to save everyone some money and possibly make some $$ back, but you've posted everyday the past 3 days about it and it's getting a little much. I don't want Sephora to look at this thread and make the rules even stricter. Once a week, and maybe even starting a referral train sounds better, because doing it everyday just sounds a lot like shilling for these companies. Just my two cents.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

honestly, i just want people to take advantage because it's a really good deal, and people (like me on BT) have a hard time finding the deals we reference sometimes due to the other deals being posted.

I really want to avoid drama, so thanks for your post - it is duly noted. If you read the statement once again, I put I am posting this one last time since the 24% cashback ends tomorrow.

I have now edited the post, if that makes you feel better.

have a great weekend!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

It is a good deal! I didn't mean any drama by my comment, but I just wanted to avoid stepping on Sephora's toes since we can't even say Ultra in PMs or in titles of images we upload 👀

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

yeah but I think Sephora is mainly targeting that store because clearly it's the strongest direct competitor as we have clearly noticed. whereas Spring has brands that Sephora does not carry so I don't think it really applies in that sense.

if Sephora started carrying Diptyque, Byredo, CT, Aesop etc then I think they would worry more.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

You guys are both a class act!  The last thing we need is any drama...

thanks for keeping it civil @shirleylin88 & @jominguez

<333

i'm just sipping on my coffee watching 30 people doing beach yoga, perusing BT and some Byredo....

life is good this Saturday!

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Thanks for posting this, I'm eyeballing some Byredo! PM'd you @shirleylin88

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

you're welcome, I am eyeing the Byredo Tree House candle, I noticed a lot of Diptyque went OOS, esp the large Baies candle i was eyeing, guess I will be saving $240!! (which is good!!) LOL

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

Some really nice deluxe sized samples more bluemurcury right now. I got the sharpener for $5 and picked out a nest candle and some other goodies in the 3 free samples section. There was a 4 piece laura mercier set that is sold out in the sample section. Screen Shot 2017-01-11 at 7.16.49 PM.png

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

  • Thank you for posting this deal!  I received my samples with a small purchase.😍

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Meesh123 where do I find the 3 free samples at checkout??

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

nevermind!  for some reason it wasn't populating when I had just a sharpener in my cart...

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Meesh123 do you know if bluemercury gives deluxe samples like these often? I'm afraid of getting the old bait and switch - seeing a picture of a deluxe sample but then getting a foil :/

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@colormepinkenblu they throw in deluxe samples in their free sample section more often than sephora does, that's for sure. I've never seen them not deliver what they advertise.

Re: Deals Too Good to Pass Up (Volume Five)

@Meesh123 The only downside is that they do not substitute samples when one that you have selected goes OOS. I ordered last week and selected a NARS sample set with the Orgasm illuminator and lipgloss. Of course it sold out between when I ordered and when it shipped. They didn't substitute it with anything, so now I'm not getting anything in place of that set -___-
