perfume samples half full

has anyone gotten perfume samples that were half gone ? or is that the norm ? I have gotten 3 two different times , and all 3 were half empty

Samples are usually not filled to the brim; if it's only half full though, the vials could be loose, resulting in evaporation. Or they could be very old. You can really lose a lot of perfume to evaporation!

Many perfume samples are less than full; while the vials will actually hold 2mL or more of liquid, many manufacturers only sample out 1.2 or 1.5 mL, leaving plenty of extra space in them.
