Play box or Ipsy

What does anyone else think of Ipsy??? Been thinking about subscribing to that also..

I love ipsy and they give full size the more you review the better the products boxycharm is the best tho

I started with Ipsy, it’s legit for 10 bucks cancelled birtchbox because to many skin products and I’m on a waiting list for Boxycharm i heard it’s the best. I just signed up for this box hope it’s worth it

Agree about boxycharm, it's more a month but full size products and amazing. That's one I'm keeping, oh yes!!!

Had ipsy and it’s not worth it imo. Yes the bags are cute but the products are really cheap and don’t have quality to them. For $10 a month I rather have good samples and not a cute bag. Their customer service is also a drag. I’m not sure if it’s my area or not tho

ipsy is terrible. it's always the same junk... over and over.. even know that I've been done with them for over a year I look at their boxes and they are the exact same items as before...

I think it depends on what you are looking for. I have done Ipsy for a few years and despite my profile, I continued to get colors that I absolutely hate. I have so much white/cream glittery shadows I could scream. I have only gotten one matte shadow in all my time with Ipsy. It could be an age thing, and if I were 20, maybe the glittery shadow would be wearable, but as I get closer to 50, it isn’t working for me. I got my first Play last month and absolutely loved...and have used every item in my box! ❤️

well I sub to I pay, birchBox , as well as play and so far Play hasn't failed me ... ipsy didn't get good till about my third box I'm not only 3rd birch box and well i have half the items to my mom for December box I had the option to choose an item which was MAC mascara or to switch an item ....so far #1 Play, #2 ipsy, #3 birch ..im considering subing to lip monthly

I have both and have been trying to cancel for two months straight. No luck. In my opinion, with ipsy The products inconsistent, but no issue with the cute bags. Where as Sephora, the items are good but the poor quality of the bags are hit or miss. I wish to widen my research pool and compare birch box, boxy charm; see which is the better for me.

I get both and so I like them both. I love the bags from ipsy. I use the products I get for. ipsy more as well. I am not willing to give either of them up tho.

I stopped ipsy after being subbed for more than a year because the products that were sent were in no way related to my profile, even after updating and then completely redoing it. customer service was very unhelpful so I ended up cancelling out of frustration. The bags are super cute though.

Same here. I would rate and comment about what they sent, as it's SUPPOSED to help with future bags, but it didn't help one bit.

I used to get both... I got ipsy for like 3 years. Liked the bags that everything comes in... but after a while they start repeating... I have a whole box full of bags and makeup. I only get Sephora’s now.

SO GOOD. I get playbox and Ipsy monthly.

I used ti have the ipsy subscription, and then i changed to the playbox. The reason I changed was because ipsy was sending too many samples of drug store makeup and I did not like that. Personally, I dont mind going and paying $7 for a lipstick and finding out that i dont like it. I do mind paying $20+ for one and finding i do not like it, thus i would much prefer getting a sample of the high end stuff to try it out. Besides that, it was a decent subscription box, over 2 years i got a couple of products that I did go out and purchase full size of. Hope this helps!
