What does anyone else think of Ipsy??? Been thinking about subscribing to that also..

Re: Play box or Ipsy

I get both! Ipsy is better bags and more makeup heavy. They seem to do a good job (for me) at picking a bag that goes with my profile and reviews. I still want nice skincare and a fragrance, so I have Play too.

Re: Play box or Ipsy

Ipsy is a great subscription box, but I would only recommend doing it for six months. After that, everything repeats.

RE: Play box or Ipsy

playbox hands down. ipsy is a bunch of crap you've never heard of. same with birchbox

RE: Play box or Ipsy

I subscribe to both and Ipsy is great for brushes. The only thing I wish would come in my play box.

I get both, Ipsy has cuter bags and matches skin tones better no fragrances though. Play box gives more samples of high-end products and has fragrance samples. I like both though!

I receive both and I am loving them both equally, although Ipsy sends things I don't use more than Sephora.

I have been getting ipsy for almost a year, there are some products I have really enjoyed! I started Sephora's 2 months ago and I do feel like Playbox has better stuff. I love products though and sharing with friends so I'll hang on to ipsy for a little longer.

I actually just cancelled my subscription to Ipsy but kept my Sephora one. Too many things I didn't like despite leaving reviews (nail polish, earth tones, etc.) but I did find one or two fun brands through them. just seemed to cycle through a lot of the same brands...

RE: Play box or Ipsy

I love my ipsy too but if you want top of the line samples get the play box. Ipsy sends you full size nail polish and other things sometimes not just sample sizes.

I like both my boxes. I like my Ipsy box I get a lot of brands that I probably would not purchase or have not heard of so I'm trying new things that I otherwise wouldn't have. tried out. I do give about half of my box away every month but my friends who don't really use makeup like that and I'm trying to get into it love that I able to give them stuff the best part of my Ipsy box is the makeup brushes as I'm trying to build up my collection. I love my Play box and if you like designer brands then I was stick with Play

Sephora has more high end brands. Ipsy I alright but I believe Sephora is best. I canceled my ipsy membership 2 months into my play subscription

I have both!! I like both no doubt!

RE: Play box or Ipsy

I get ipsy, I like that sometimes you get Tarte products.

RE: Play box or Ipsy

I’ve been using Ipsy for almost 2 years now and I’ve noticed that they’re starting to send out more recognizable brands. I’ve gotten some urban decay and IT cosmetics products. I love Ipsy because it sends stuff I would never think of buying for myself so I get to play around with the products. I also love sephora because they send samples of products that are practical (such as dry shampoo, I think I found the perfect one in my last bag!). I love both sephora play and Ipsy so I subscribe to both every month!

RE: Play box or Ipsy

I did Ipsy for 6 months last year and felt the brands were either too indie or unrecognizable for me. At least with Sephora I know the brands are good and if I really like something I can always take the bonus 50 point card and get it at the store

RE: Play box or Ipsy

I subscribed to ipsy for a year. I liked them for full sizes products but I realized I like name brands more than brands I never even heard off. I think Sephora playbox is a better deal for my 10$. 80% of time I received ipsy I was all like why would I want to use this junk setting powder when I have laura mercier

RE: Play box or Ipsy

I do both! I love them both!
