Broken playbox item

I literally just received my playbox today. I opened it super excited and saw my Deva Curl leave in decadence sample had a pretty big cut in the back of it. I’m not sure what to do. I was super excited about it, but since it’s already opened I don’t think it would be safe due to exposure and all.
