what's a good face primer for oily skin?

i want my makeup to last through a day and not be able to see what i wanted covered

I really like Korres' Quercetin & Oak Age-reversing Primer.  It held my powder foundation really well.  I often find that primers intefere with my daily moisturizer, or can make my face feel oily, but Korres' product was awesome.  I have comination oily/dry skin with some acne (the worst)!

I have tried almost every primer out there on the market.  I myself have very oily skin and it tends to be sensitive to most products. I absolutely love Hourglass Primer and MUFE HD Primer.  They glide on smoothly and aren't too heavy.  They make makeup look beautiful and flawless.  It also holds up to long nights of pictures and dancing.  Give them a try..pricey but very well worth the investment.

hmph, I've tried so many but to be honest with you I haven't found THE product yet. I hear people are all about the milk of magnesia (original version) but I am not quite ready to go down that road yet.

So far I've tried Smashbox's Ultra light, the Body Shop matte primer, Lorac's Aqua prime, Lancome's Pure Focus gel for T zone. So far the best is the Lancome one but i don't know if they sell it anymore.

I've heard good things about Make Up forever's All Mat so maybe you should try a sample size of that?

I prefer Smashbox's Photo Finish light.. they have a to go size if you just want to try it out at first without having to buy the bigger size.. thats what I did 😃 It makes the makeup last all day, really helps prevent oilies/shine, and helps make large pores look smaller too!

Smashbox!!! I love love love their primers. They control oil throughout the day and keep my makeup on.
