loose powder for oily skin

Is the Kat Von D a good powder for oily skin? I was interested in the Laura Mercier powder but its a little too expensive and they don't sell the travel size in stores. The Kat Von D travel size they sell in stores and its $15 but I am just wondering if its worth it.

I was also interested in the airspun but for some reason I can't find it in stores anywhere, and I dont want to order anything online.

Does anyone have any other recommendations that aren't overly expensive?

If you want to go super cheap with powder that works super well check out Maybelline Fit Me powder. I'm extremely prone to oil and use the translucent one to set all of my makeup and it holds in place like a gem. After about half the day for me or a sweaty shift at work it'll have a little shine but a quick touch up will make it look like it never happened.

Also about the Airspun powder it's not that great quality wise AND it's not great for matching skin tones. It may not be an issue for you but I'm extremely pale and their translucent shade is still orange on my skin

i love the laura mercier setting powder. it's honestly worth the investment because the amount of product you get will last you about 2-3 months depending on how often you use it. this powder really locks your foundation in place and it is a miracle for my oily skin!!! i've also tried the kat von d one and i didnt like it as much because it left me looking really chalky.

I searched for the airspun powder for the longest time and I was finally able to find it in the nail polish section at Walmart. It isn't as great as it is hyped up to be but I recommend the Flower Beauty loose powder. It's amazing

Urban decay velvetizer! Mix it with your foundation and set with it! It's heaven sent for us oily girls.

I personally haven't tried the kat von d, but Laura Mercier is a great powder to invest in! It is a little pricey, but the pay off is great. To be honest, airspun is okay. Not as great as the reviews. If you are looking to just try a powder out to see how it works with oily skin, I would try NYX loose powder.

Definitely try the Urban Decay Velvetizer. I add it to my foundation and set my face with it. The hype is deserved!
