I use the Sephora brand stick foundation and i have no trouble with it and i have oily skin.

I can tell you what not to try. I bought the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish foundation stick and I didn't like it at all. By the middle of the day, it was sliding off my nose and by the end of the day you couldn't eve tell I'd ever had makeup on. Not a good foundation.
