The one that you’ve tagged has squalane in it, which is a super hydrate! It feels fantastic on the skin but definitely doesn't help with oil control. I’ve found anything with sacyllic acid to be best ☺️

Reapplying powder throughout the day is a big help.

@vmaxson the "makeup under $20" section on Sephora has a ton of mini sized primers you can try out until you find the right one. Try searching "blurring" or "mattifying" primers as well to get a sense of what will work with your skin type. Unfortunately, most full sized primers here are over $20. Although, the SEPHORA COLLECTION Smooth + Blur Primer is just $16 and highly rated and their SEPHORA COLLECTION Hydrating & Mattifying Oil-Free Gel Cream 1. 69 fl. oz. / 50 ml is also very highly rated at $20. Another option is to use a product that acts as a two-for like a sunscreen primer. Many people use Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA +++ as a primer (and minis are available for under $20 or you can eliminate your current sunscreen if you're using one). Off Sephora, Elf Primers consistently get the best ratings for drug store primers and are only $10. They are definitely worth checking out.
