I absolutely love the Clinique Acne Solutions clarifying lotion! It’s not a lotion! It’s a toner! It might burn the first time but it’s because your skin is adjusting to it but you’ll get used to it! Just put some on a cotton disk and swipe it across your face and you will see the gunk that comes out of your pores.

Okay so this morning I woke up with really oily redness skin and I used these products to help my skin feel a lot better and I also used a blue star pimple patch from starface and my face was just super red and oily so I went in with these products and it I would say I would give it a 5.5 out of star in a 10 out of 10 because it just worked really good for my skin and felt really good on my skin and it fixed it like that

@saturniid , when my son feels oilier, I usually look at my skincare prep before switching out products and also go lighter with how much complexion product I'm using. Maybe a lighter moisturizer is needed (think gel vs cream) but one that's still hydrating, sometimes that helps my skin produce less only. Then apply primer only where you really need it, like where you notice the separation. Use very little foundation on those areas and then set with powder. Your skin is going to be skin, but if you have less product on, it shouldn't be as cakey to you.

So I tried everything for my large, clogged pores. salicylic acid, BHA, AHA, combination of acids, you name it, but I always end up getting clogged pores and every month I go get a facial, I need to get extraction to the point it bruises my nose. Why are my pores getting so clogged even though I use these acids? I only wear makeup once and twice a week, and I wash my face and use these products everyday!
