I have been loving the Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint with Hyaluronic Acid + Squalane ! I have also heard great things about the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop and the Rare Beauty Tinted Moisturizer, so those may be worth checking out too.

I have very oily skin and sometimes, especially during the summer, I just let my sunscreen double as moisturizer in the morning. If I do want a moisturizer in the AM, the best moisturizers I’ve tried that truly help control oil are the Shani Darden Skin Care Weightless Oil-Free Moisturizer 2.5 oz/ 75 mL (my favorite out of all these), Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Balancing Gel Moisturizer 1.69 oz / 50 mL , and First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oil-Control Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mL . I have had great experiences with all of these!

Skin prep is the most important part when trying to keep the oil at bay throughout the day!!! Make sure to wash your face as your first step before your makeup. Even if you cleansed before bed and just woke up, splashing water on your face isn't enough. You face will already have a layer of oil and you will need to cleanse. We get oily because our skin is dehydrated and our body produces excess oil to combat that. So try a facial oil instead of a moisturizer under your makeup. I know this sounds crazy but... Oil and oil cancel each other out. It will help keep oil production down and can help the foundation from oxidizing throughout the day and changing color. Try Sunday Riley Juno Antioxidant + Superfood Face Oil At the end of the day, since you are acne prone, I would make sure to double cleanse. First start with oil cleanser, this will help break down makeup products on your face. Then go in with your normal cleanser.
