Setting spray vs no setting spray photo

See how gross and old I end up looking without using it? Eww. My makeup just slides around and I'm suuuuper oily looking. The only difference between the 2 photos is Morphe matte setting spray and a bit of concealer under my eyes. It's taken in the same spot in the same room and wearing makeup roughly the same amount of time. Girl my face is the same way 😭 I’m gonna try out the things you’re using!! Right now I’m using urban decay setting powder and setting spray, but my face can still get super shiny by the end of the day

On the reviews, one person had pointed out that the ingredients list in the urban decay matte and original were identical. I wonder if there's an actual difference in other brands 🤔 I really do love the Morphe matte setting spray but beware you will get a couple white spots from the droplets that aren't completely mist. I just use a clean concealer brush and give it a little scrub so it fades away. A small con for the amount of pros it gives me.

I don’t think you look gross. I think the 2nd photo your skin looks more matte. 
I use the original Morphe Setting spray and I’m noticing it doesn’t do what it used to for me. My make up still looks “powdery”. Any suggestions?

I've sampled the mac prep prime+fix & it did an amazing job of making me look incredibly natural, no powdery finish, but didn't stand up to my excess oil. I also have a friend who uses cover fx and she looks almost as good.
