Makeup looks blotchy and cakey :(

I started using the Rare Beauty foundation and concealer this summer and still wear it now (my skin tone is a little lighter now that itโ€™s winter). My skin gets super oily, especially around my T-zone, but not so much on the rest of my face. Every time I wear a full face with their products my makeup ends up looking super cakey, blotchy, yellow, and it also creases like crazy even after I set it with the o/s powder and Charlotte Tilbury spray. I also use the E.L.F power grip primer in case anybody is wondering. Anything I can do to fix this?

Re: Makeup looks blotchy and cakey :(

@saturniid , when my son feels oilier, I usually look at my skincare prep before switching out products and also go lighter with how much complexion product I'm using.  Maybe a lighter moisturizer is needed (think gel vs cream) but one that's still hydrating, sometimes that helps my skin produce less only.  Then apply primer only where you really need it, like where you notice the separation.  Use very little foundation on those areas and then set with powder.  Your skin is going to be skin, but if you have less product on, it shouldn't be as cakey to you.
