Herbivore Lapis Oil: does it clog pores?

I've read a lot of good things about Herbivore Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil - For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin 1.7 oz/ 50 mL for oily skin, but I've also read reviews that claimed it clogged their pores and broke them out. Maybe its the coconut oil in it...? Anyways, I have suuuuper oily skin, and it's gotten even worse these days, so I'm wondering if I could get honest opinions on this? It's pretty expensive, so I don't want to waste any money on something that's gonna break me out. (I know its gonna be a bit different for everyone's skin but...)

As for lapis keep an eye out for fogging. Herbivore used to be a huge part of my skincare routine until I broke out and investigated all my products. I found mold in my lapis and blue tansy and prism. I just ran out of the toner so I can’t comment on that. I don’t know why this isn’t talked about more which is why I’m posting this comment because I wish I knew before my face got ruined. Seriously just try googling “herbivore botanicals mold“ Sephora literally had to recall pink cloud before because of this issue yet continues to sell everything else? They pride themselves on not using preservatives yet clearly that’s causing more harm than good. I wonder how sterile their labs or factories or whatever are Like can’t they at least use sealed packaging to prevent contamination?! I’m not happy rn. I do not recommend!

Hi mashar0122, the herbivore lapis oil is a good oil for oily acne prone or congested skin. It has ingredients that work on clarity and get in and decongest the skin while helping to calm acne related inflammation while also balancing oil production. It can break you out in the beginning cause it’s helping the skin purge all the negative stuff in the skin. Just give it time and a little goes a long way. You want to use 3 no more that 4 drops.
