Eye Makeup for Glasses

What are some recommendations (products; primer, foundation and tips) you have to ensure makeup around the nose area does not rub off. I have both oily skin and wear glasses.

RE: Eye Makeup for Glasses

I put setting powder on all the surfaces of my glasses that I know will come into contact with my makeupโ€”so the nose bridge, nose grips, bottom of the lenses/frames. Donโ€™t worry about getting the powder on neatly because I find the messier I apply it, the better it works. I touch up the powder every 4ish hours since thatโ€™s how long it typically takes for my oil to start pushing through and making its presence known. Hope this helped!

Eye Makeup for Glasses

I don't wear glasses but I saw a great tip online because I wear sunglasses a woman put weave glue on the nose piece of her glasses and let it dry and I think she even threw a little powder on there she swore by it and said her glasses did not take her makeup off on her nose! I have yet to try since I saw that video in the winter but I'm definitely going to give it a go during the summer and as I've been looking for something that won't rip their nose makeup off when I have a full beat face it looks ridiculous LOL hope I could help!

RE: Eye Makeup for Glasses

Iโ€™ve tried daubing on Mac paint pot with some success. Use a different primer through your oiliest areas of the T zone. Try using a really good setting spray between each step, Lightly! Always remember to match your products to keep them from sliding around (water for water, silicone for silicone, oil for oil, etc). Watch your powders, extra fine milled is great but it accentuates fine lines and crepeyness. Good luck.
