@fatimamummy It was a set of false lashes in a package that was shaped like breasts from I think, velour lashes? It said it was being sold in honour of breast cancer month.

Thanks @lachaton. Have you tried Nest candles? The Birchwood pine smells a lot like diptyque Sapin when I saw this in store.

@dioradict I bought the mini Holiday one years ago. I don't love Nest candles - They don't burn as evenly for me, nor do I think they smell quite as nice (without being overpowering). But I've never tried Birchwood Pine. I always think Hearth sounds nice.

I pretty much only use two candle brands now - Diptyque and Coal & Canary 🙂

@lachaton Thanks I might get the mini pine and see how it goes. I got one of the Cire trudon from Saks recently they burn well too  But I didn't like JM much versus diptyque. coal and canary sounds good, where do you get it from ?

@dioradict Let me know how you like it! Since I only have the one Nest, it could have been a one-time experience... so I'm curious to hear what you think.

Cire trudon is on my list to try! Which one did you buy? I was sniffing the ones at Saks a little while ago, but couldn't decide on one. 

Interesting! I actually quite like JM although I haven't tried very many. I have the Lavendar and Lovage one that I'm using now - it's nice. I picked up the mini JM Candle set for the holidays so I can try out more. 

I pick up Coal and Canary from a few different places! They're a Canadian brand, made in Manitoba. I've bought from their direct website, but shipping is $$$. They're sometimes at shows - like the One of a Kind show in Toronto. That's where I first found them. But a lot of other little boutiques carry them. The scents are more basic than Diptyque, but they're nice. And I love the wood wick since it crackles. Little Blue Canoe carries some of the candles online, and they do free shipping for orders of $30 or more.

The Barista one is nice (if you like coffee. It's pretty much pure coffee smell). I like the Cider Made Me Do It (just apples! But it smells so fresh), and Cable Knit Scarf/Chunky Knit Sweater for fall scents. Also like Great Complexion one.

Ooh, sorry to butt in, but I just bought two Cire Trudon candles at Saks for my hubby's birthday. I got the 'Ottoman' and 'Abd El Kader' candles. Abd El Kader was a real person , a philosopher, freedom fighter and spiritual master in Algeria during the French occupation. Hubby is writing his PhD on Abd El Kader, so I thought it was fitting to choose that one! It has a clean, minty, green tea scent. Apparently they burn for 60 hours or so and are made by a traditional process. These candles are awesome, I would recommend them!
