Using the NAILSINC NailKale Superfood Base Coat as a treatment- HELP!

I recently bought the NAILSINC NailKale Superfood Base coat with the intention of using it as a treatment... but I’m not quite sure how to upkeep it. The packaging says to apply the NailKale three times a week- do I remove the previous coat first? Just paint more NailKale on top of the existing treatment(s)? How do YOU use it?

It is recommended to use it as a base coat! I also suggest using it in between times when you do not wear nail polish.
