@LaurieNapps What a great thread!  This brought back some nice memories for me.  When I was in high school I used to do my nails every night before I went to bed - I'd sit in front of the TV and watch "Seinfeld" and it was my special "me" time.  Years later, my friends would ask me if I still did my nails - they fondly remember seeing my new looks everyday.  Even the prissy faculty complimented my nails!  The craziest thing is, I haven't been into doing my nails since then.  Maybe this will given me the motivation.  🙂

So I'm curious, were they something along the lines of a "glue on" where you could take them off (or reapply if one came off), or was that a full blown acrylic/etc job where you were pretty much stuck with them for however long you had to wear them? And just how long did you have to wear them? I see major assistance needed for most every aspect of basic life activities and would be petrified lol.

thankfully they were glue on and I only had to wear them for a few hours! But you really don't realize how much your nails are 'there'until you try and do every day things. Putting the keys in my car ignition and even unlocking my door- I laughed so hard. I've kept them as inspo in my manicure drawer.
