Due to some technical glitches with the original Show Me Your Nails Thread, I am starting a new thread with @vegchililover78's blessing (She says "hello," by the way!).
Please share your nail looks, nail art and manicures!
...And don't forget to check out @Beadshopgirl's Nail Stamping Thread for stamping inspiration! ❤️

Thanks, @itsfi ! I'm used China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat. I have Londontown Perfecting Nail Veil. I'll give that a try next time. Thanks for the advice! 😘
@Titian06 That Lyn B polish is so fiery in the sun! 🔥🧡❤️
@Titian06 Beautiful orange combination. The Lyn B shade is now on my radar 🧡
Thanks, @Mellmars1185 ! I was expecting the LynB to be sheer, but it isn't. The color and shimmer are lovely! 🧡🧡🧡
Decided to pull a few out from my white/grey box, and it turned out I had several with a various versions of a pink/orange/gold shift, so it felt like a pretty cohesive set 🤍🖤💗
My taste is weird, I don't actually care for the pink/orange/gold shift most of the time, but somehow I managed to accumulate several anyways 🤦♀️ After using these, they're all perfectly lovely in their own right, but nope, still not my faves. I much prefer something in the green/teal/purple family instead!
From pinky to thumb:
Essie On The Download: soft white cream, ever so slightly grey-leaning, with a soft pink reflect. The shimmer in this one is the most subtle of the bunch and doesn't photograph well, but it's somewhat noticeable IRL even if not prominent. The formula was a bit iffy though, typical white, a bit thin and watery while also being streaky and chalky. I managed to muddle through with three coats, though I do still see a couple of thin spots.
Sassy+Chic 943: Dollar Tree gem, this has way more going on than most dollar store polishes ever do! Dirty grey jelly base with pink/orange shimmer *and* holo dust, nice! The base is quite sheer, I started worrying after the second coat still looked like streaky dishwater, but the third coat evened up nicely with decent coverage. I could use a fourth for full full full opacity, but I was happy enough with it to stop here. The rest of the polishes I saw from the brand were much more basic, but this is a fun one!
Night Owl Lacquer Volcano Man: silver base loaded with holo flakies, pink/orange shimmer, and charcoal flakies for a pinch of deeper contrast. Super super easy two coater, lovely formula as always.
Pacifica Fluff It Up: pearly off white, slightly gold leaning, with a really strong pink/orange/gold reflect. Three coats for opacity, but they were easy, and I'm surprised at how strong the shimmer is in this one. I'd also be willing to bet it's downright fiery over a black base with a deeper red/orange/gold shift 🔥
Twisting Nether Lacquer Ladies Don't Start Fights But They Can Finish Them: white crelly base with black flakies, pink/orange shimmer, a pinch of reflective glitter, and maybe a smattering of holo dust? I am loving black flakies lately, and I think it helps spice this one up. Easy three coater, no complaints!

Indirect light
Flash to help pop some of those holos
Catching the orange/gold in these was much more difficult, it's shy except at weird angles, but you can maybe kinda see some coppery tones starting to show here.
@RGbrown First: I love all those shades together. The pink shift throughout that mani is very nice, though I know it’s not your jam. I’m very surprised by that Sassy+Chic polish; I’d never expect something like that from the brand. 😮
Next: I bought On the Download instead of the kinda abalone shade from that collection (don’t recall its name… Geek something or other, I think… anyway, I passed on it and was proud of myself for resisting another polish in the abalone family. But when I swatched On the Download that night, I realized my mistake. I’m not surprised to hear it was fussy for you. It was fussy on my swatch stick. Still, you managed to make it look good on your nail. Impressive!
Thanks so much, and welcome back! Dollar Tree has another brand, NuColor, that comes in similar bottles, and I found one "more interesting than most" polish in it as well. I wish they'd do more fun stuff (or maybe it's for the best they don't, as I'm doing pretty badly at regulating my collection myself, so I guess I need fewer interesting polishes to exist in the first place 😂)
On The Download was a total impulse purchase for me...I went to Target looking for something specific, couldn't find it, but happened across this on clearance while I browsed the newly remodeled beauty area. It fixed my disappointment with my trip there (until I used it, that is, but that's a different matter lol)
The white crelly with the black flakies are FANTASTIC @RGbrown! I'm not a super fan of white crellies but white & black pairings are always something I'm down for and this pairing is truly beautiful!
