Started out with just 2 coats of Gucci Peggy Sunburn, a vibrant coral that is neither too red, too orange, nor too pink, on all my digits. I'm surprised how much I love this shade - I'm really picky about corals as they don't tend to look so great on me, but I've been enjoying this beauty for some time.  Like most of the Gucci nail polishes, this one has a glassy finish even before a top coat is applied.

I was in the mood for some nail art and decided to amp up a French manicure with Gucci Peggy Sunburn for the tips, and then added some additional flourishes at a later date.

Base Coat - NAILS INC. NAILKALE - Superfood Base Coat 

Base Color - OPI Baby, Take a Vow

Tips - Gucci Glossy Nail Polish 414 Peggy Sunburn 

Nail art - Essie Blanc & DND Black Diamond Star

Top Coat - Glisten & Glow Top Coat

@itsfi  I love this shade on you! I giggled a little when I read digits I don’t think I’ve ever heard that outside of my work before!! I love it. I love the French mani with it also. It’s so prefect for summer. I don’t remember seeing this shade is it new? Have you collected all the Gucci shades yet?

Thank you so much @ather; I've grown quite fond of this coral shade. Hahaha, I find I use words not commonly used; older or old-school words. 😁 No, Peggy Sunburn isn't one of the newer additions to the Gucci polish; I think it's one of those shades that just isn't as popular. I'm close to having all of the Gucci colors. I have a couple that I packed away so I'll get to those either when I go rummaging through the boxes in the garage or when all the work's been done and it's time to unpack. lol. I think I'm missing the black polish, which may take me a while to pick up. I'm this close to going on a really low buy as far as nail polish goes. 😬

@itsfi  I love your word choice! It is literally the best! I’ll have to go check out Peggy sunburn. I mean the name itself has drawn me in! I need to be on a nail polish low/no buy but there’s some shades I don’t have and want/need for fall. Urg. I also need to order some base coat but I’m thinking there’s going to be some back to school or maybe holiday sales coming up! I’m holding off for now! I can see why you don’t have the Gucci black. I mean if you have a great black nail polish you don’t really need a different brand in one. But having them all is like catching all the Pokémon right!! Gotta catch them all 🤣

@Cissy63, thank you. I’m happy to have found a coral polish I like. Painting flowers and lines has its good days and bad. It’s so much easier on the non-dominant hand 😆
