Due to some technical glitches with the original Show Me Your Nails Thread, I am starting a new thread with @vegchililover78's blessing (She says "hello," by the way!).
Please share your nail looks, nail art and manicures!
...And don't forget to check out @Beadshopgirl's Nail Stamping Thread for stamping inspiration! ❤️

@RGbrown - Oswin definitely looks like a Pixie without the top coat. Really like it and the blue holo. ❤💙❤💙 I also like the creams on your left hand--rich and vibrant. 💙❤💙❤
Such cool mani @RGbrown ! I love that you bring us two different options, both gorgeous! I love the look of Oswin by itself, and it pairs with Elsa perfectly
LOVE!
First time wearing "Queen Frostine" from Wildflower Lacquer and it's so hard to capture all of the colors of the individual flakies!
Oh wow @CookieGirl1! The flakies and shift on this posh create such a beautiful effect. So pretty! 🤩
Wow! That one is so beautiful @CookieGirl1!!! Gorgeous! I love it! And I love how it matches your clothes and those summery flowers... 😍😍😍 Spectacular!
@Saradestin @RGbrown thank you! I thought I needed to at least wear blue for the 4th and then I may have to go back to neons, lol.
@CookieGirl1 Oooh, I remember that one from a Polish Pickup last... fall, I think? I remember because I debated buying it vs. something else. It's gorgeous in action!
@WinglessOne this was actually the first time I wore it! When I swatched it I wasn't sure if I'd like it buuuut I'm convinced now 🙂
I am not ready for fall AT ALL, but time keeps on slippin' into the future, and fall collections are just around the corner, eek! Here's a peek at a few I've come across!
China Glaze fall collection I Don't Give A Sip, from noae dot nl
China Glaze Halloween collection Vain Villains, from Polish Pick
Morgan Taylor fall collection Plaid Reputation, from Polish Pick
OPI fall collection Fall Wonders, from Polish Pick (and already available at Ulta)
Essie fall collection, from noae dot nl (and available at Ulta as well)
@RGbrown, I love the fall but this seems a smidge early for me. 😂 Could be because, except for the brief heatwave, summer weather doesn’t usually find its way here until late September / early October. That said, I’ve made note of a few polishes on these collections. Gotta be prepared, right?! Lol.
@RGbrown Heh, I'm always ready for fall—it's my favorite season—but a lot of fall collections annoy me with their muted "earthy" shades. Don't get me wrong, I love earthy shades. But beauty brands often treat fall like a negative thing: end-of-summer, no more bright cheery fun times, something dreadful (winter*) is around the corner, etc. Autumn is fun! And not just because of Halloween. I wish more brands would at least feature shimmery/metallic/sparkly jewel tones in their fall collections.
All of that is why I'm drawn to Essie's fall collection. OPI's is a nice take on the typical "down-to-earth" fall palette. And c'mon, any Halloween themed collection's bound to be fun—though CG's isn't very unique for Halloween.
I'm probably super biased about all this because I don't do seasonal colors for makeup, clothing, etc. "All of the colors, all of the time" is still my perspective. Not saying no one else should do seasonal colors, I mean I'm not the cosmetic color police. 😂 I'd just like to see more interesting and fun options in more fall collections of cosmetics. I love coffee (cut me and I'll probably bleed coffee) but I'm not feeling CG's coffee-themed fall collection, mostly because they chose fall to release it. Why not release it any other time of year? Am I the only person who guzzles coffee in spring? C'mon man.
*As a winter baby (born on the solstice), I don't hate winter. I realize some folks with seasonal affective disorder (SAD) suffer depression during winter due to fewer daylight hours (y'all can thank the annual DST > Standard Time switch for some of that), among other things. And it usually gets oppressively cold in the midwest, especially in January where I live. But if I had to live someplace that never sees snow, I'd probably end up with SAD too. I dunno, I'm quirky. 🤷♀️
