Amal is gorgeous!! And I love the stripes...so simple, but what a bold contrast ❣️ I had thought about doing stripes on my current mani, actually, but horizontal never even crossed my mind...it would have been one or two vertical stripes. Will have to file that away for future inspo!

Now that you mention it, I don't have any sort of cream shade, I don't think. I have white, of course, and a super pale grey, maybe a super pale pink, but no cream. Might be a new rabbithole, sigh 🤭

@RGbrown, I love Amal! 💖 Thank you, thank you! The Zoya matte-velvets are definitely more my speed when it comes to matte polishes; it never looked too flat on its own. Interestingly, it's easier for me to do horizontal lines free-hand, well, at least on my left hand; it took a while longer and several attempts before I was okay with how it turned out. 

Definitely give cream shades a try. There's a lot of variety out there, with all sorts of undertones. I think I may have at one point left the bottle open on this one because it was thicker than I remember it ever being. 🤔

Ahhhh, I meant to ask if you had tried thinner in that one? Should help tremendously if it's too thick!

Ulta Eye Popping Poppy is a creamy vibrant pink with just the barest hint of coral. It's nothing close to what I wanted when I ordered it...the description is "red-orange", but it's a lovely color nonetheless. This one is part of their permanent collection, and I found it a bit easier to work with than the LE ones I used a few manis back; it didn't get streaky or gloopy, and it was nearly a one coater, with a second coat just to touch up a few bare spots.

OPI Strawberry Waves Forever is a bold pink shimmer. Three coats for this one; it wasn't fussy about coverage, not streaky or anything like that, just a touch sheer after two.

@RGbrown, OPI Strawberry Waves Forever is gorgeous!!! 😍 A fun, bright, bold summer pink! I like the subtle contrast of the two polishes. You come up with the best ideas for designs and pairing color.

It's a great pink! I'm not sure it's all that unique...I probably have several similar shades from other brands, but that certainly doesn't diminish how fun it is 💖

As far as pairing, my bigger problem is just trying to get all these unused polishes used at least once. I'm just mixing and matching as fast as I can 🤣

@itsfi no, I had actually been searching for a blue creme but I think I finally found one that's pretty close to what I had wanted--it's from China Glaze's summer collection :-).
