Due to some technical glitches with the original Show Me Your Nails Thread, I am starting a new thread with @vegchililover78's blessing (She says "hello," by the way!).
Please share your nail looks, nail art and manicures!
...And don't forget to check out @Beadshopgirl's Nail Stamping Thread for stamping inspiration! ❤️

@RGbrown The magical Pixiedusts have those holographic particles that are sooo shiny I always see people staring at my fingers when I wear them. 😂
I skipped most of the Magical ones in the past because I wasn't a big fan of chunky glitter at the time. I always admired it on others, but never liked it much for me. But...that tide is slowly turning, so I may have pick a few up at some point. Love the light pink with holo in this one! Plus, my grandmother's name was Virginia, but she went by Ginny, so this would be a great reminder of her 💖
@RGbrown I agree the color is mostly glitter, the finish is completely different from the regular pixiedusts. It is hard to get these opaque in just two coats. These are ok for sometimes though when you’re feeling you want to go full on big glitter. That’s lovely about your grandmother!
Sparkly goodness @lnum! 😍 The Zoya Pixidust line has such pretty polishes. Love Ginny! ♥️ Great pairing with the accent color!
@itsfi Thank you! The Pixiedust is my favorite polish finish, at least 50% of my polishes are just Pixiedust, so they will surely be making regular appearances.
@lnum, how fun!!! Pixidust finishes are lovely to look at; the sparkle, the shimmer - it's wonderfully mesmerizing. 😍 I like the sound of regular appearances!! ♥️ Looking forward to seeing your manis!
And for the yellow entry in my rainbow series, I present Zoya Daisy 💛
I think this was my very first yellow, and it taught me the joys (i.e. headaches) of yellow polish, which I then avoided for years 😂 After collecting several yellows lately though, I have to say that this one isn't the worst. It's got a vein of shimmer running through it, and maybe it's just my belief that shimmer is always better, but that seemed to help it be a little less patchy and streaky. I certainly wouldn't call it an easy polish, but it sits at "not bad considering it's a yellow" for me. Three coats.
This was a bit difficult to photograph accurately; it's a creamy, buttery yellow with blue shimmer. However, once on the nail, the shimmer doesn't really show up as blue as far as I can see, but it kept giving the polish a sickly green glow in almost every pic. Flash came out best, so that's what I'm using here!
@RGbrown Ok so I also have a love hate relationship with yellow but it’s so pretty on!!!
I hate that yellows can be so grouchy and so pretty all at once 😖💛
@RGbrown - I love the yellow polish! I've never tried yellow before, mostly because I never saw a yellow (or variation thereof) that I liked. I really like Daisy though. To bad it's so challenging to use. 💖💖💖
It's such a shame that yellows in general tend to be so finicky. If you like mustardy tones though, those tend to be a little easier...that touch of brown seems to help keep them from being quite as streaky!
Daisy is a pretty yellow @RGbrown! 💛 Whenever I see your yellow manicures, it makes me want to pull out my yellows, which I don't often do or have the inkling to do because of how streaky most yellow polishes apply. I'm looking at Zoya Daisy here and thinking "maybe you should give a yellow another try?" 🤔 Maybe. Off to stare at my polishes . . . 😂
Hahahaha, I totally understand! It looks so nice, but can be soooo frustrating to get right 😣 Go for it! 😂
My red mani has spawned a rainbow series, so next up is orange 🧡
Julep Summer is a soft orange, sherbet toned, with a subtle bit of pink shimmer running throughout. Two coats here; ordinarily I would have added a third for more opacity, but when you don't sit down to paint until 1:15am, time and patience are both a bit short lol.
So funny my last 2 manis were orange and red and I decided to follow the rainbow too! Although I’m going out of order haha currently wearing green next is yellow lol
@RGbrown, I’m horribly picky about orange polishes but this Julep Summer gets a 👍🏼 from me! 🧡
Love your idea for a rainbow series! 😍 Just a FYI, my 5-year old niece has consistently made clear to me that pink and sparkle are also colors of the rainbow. 😂 Both colors follow purple. Just thought that might be of interest for your rainbow manicure series. 😉
