I got a lesson on how sponging can affect the appearance of a shimmery polish today. Did a purple-black gradient, and I don't generally sponge all the way back to my cuticles because the base color should look the same once dry, but I didn't really think about that in terms of "when the shimmer is a different color from the base". Sponging concentrated the pinker shimmer while soaking up the less-pink base, making it look like there's a third polish in play and leaving a pretty definite line. Lesson for next time!

Cameo Colours Lacquers Feed Me!

I picked up this pretty polish during September's Polish Pick Up. The color was inspired by Little Shop of Horrors. This is 2 coats plus a top coat. The formula applies very well; there's a little texture to it after it dries down, but has a glossier finish thanks to the top coat. 💅

Julep Delia, a gorgeous blackened purple with holo glitter hiding down in it, and China Glaze It's All Techno, a neon yellow with just a hint of pea soup thrown in to dirty it up a bit. This might be my favorite Halloween mani to date (though I still love the blood drip one as well...choosing is tough!).
