@BrwnSugaG I use pointed cotton swabs to remove whatever mess I make when I’m applying nail polish 💅🏼

@keana1 - oh cool. i've never seen/noticed those before. i'm struggling to figure out the use of q-tips now that i recently learned you're not supposed to clean your ears with them!! lol

(Two tips: paint just short of your cuticle...if you get polish on or under it, it's quite difficult to clean up completely. Do this with your base coat first, and it makes it easier to do with your color as well. And two... lots of practice with nail polish remover + a brush. I make a total mess of the sides of my nails most of the time, but cleanup has become a valuable skill 😅😅😅)

@RGbrown - thanks for the tips!! i kinda figured the 1st from seeing your manicures and others as well and i should definitely try the brush clean up - probably a lil more effective than my q-tip method 🙂

@BrwnSugaG oh, yeah, qtips are nowhere near precise enough. I like a flat, square brush...can get all the way down in that little groove between finger and nail for precision clean up. It does take some practice to do it without taking a stripe off the sides of your nails, but it's not too terribly hard once you get the hang of it. Mine is from an ancient Sephora Pro set, but it looks similar to this (it's about worn out though...may grab one of these soon lol)
