Nail Compliments and Happy Stories

I know we all cheer each other on or shop each others nail polishes and I love that about BIC. I had one of the most heartwarming experiences today and I wanted to share. I’d also love to hear if anyone outside of BIC has ever commented on your nails? Feel free to post happy nail related stories for everyone to share in!

Today I swung by the Starbucks that’s around the corner from my kids’ daycare. I seem to have a bit of a reputation now as “the nail guy” among some of the baristas. I often get compliments from some of them when I go through the drive through. Today, when I pulled up to the window, the barista remarked “Hey! I remember you! You’re that guy with the nails!” She asked how she could support my nail business (I don’t have a business). I told her it’s just a hobby and I’ve only ever done my own. She told me to come back if I ever did start something because she would happily be my first customer! It was such a great compliment and I had to share. 😊

@JoSometimes   What a wonderful compliment, and definitely a happy story! I agree, these are things to share, and if I ever leave my apartment, I'll post something myself. LOL.

My happy story, really, is how supportive the BIC community was when I plucked up the courage to post my makeup looks. That meant oh so much to me. ❤️  (And I know it's not nails, but I wanted to honour the spirit of your lovely post anyhow.)

And I’m glad you joined BIC and you feel welcomed here! Whatever it was that pushed you to hit “post” I’m glad that it happened. 😊
