trans masc brows

hello! i recently ran out of some blonde powder i was using to fill in my very very light eyebrows. they aren't incredibly thin or anything, but they're just so light that they aren't really visible.

i'm a trans guy, and filling in my eyebrows is very important to my passing in public and onstage (when i can get hired again lmao).

i'm trying to find an eyebrow pencil or product that will have the pigment to fill in my brows, but still make them look natural and not stand out.

my goal is to just have natural looking filled-in blonde brows, and i would prefer to not have them look super uhhh "fleek-y" and precise because to me that does not look very natural, especially for a cis guy.

i'm sure other genderqueer/cis masc people have the same problem, and i want to see if anyone has any recommendations?

ABH has really great brow pencils (Brow Wiz) with blonde shades as well.

Re: trans masc brows

@Anonymous Take a look at the Hourglass "brow sculpting" pencils... it's a triangular pencil like the Anastasia one, but comes in more colors (and three different blond shades) so one might work for you.

I've been using this for a few months now and it's the most natural-looking brow pencil I've found. The shape of it lets you draw in brow hairs but it doesn't take ages to fill everything in like the old Brow Wiz pencil does.

If you want to go the brow gel route, the Hourglass Fiber one adds a bit of thickness as well as color, and looks really natural. Brow gel won't fill in any gaps though, so that only works if you're content with your natural shape.

(For what it's worth, I'm enby and I'm always kind of looking at what I have through the lens of whether I'd be comfortable recommending it for passing purposes.)

Re: trans masc brows

I think a brow gel ( looks like mascara but for your brows) would be best for you.
Anastasia Of Beverly Hills has very popular ones but so do several other brands.
Make up forever has a great brow gel that can withstand life but you'll need to have a brush/spoolie to apply it

I'd recommend going in store if you can and testing out both.

Good luck! 🙂
