Eye makeup with red lips

I've been playing with some looks. This is from a  wigs and wine night out with some friends. I've not worn much for eye sans "Better than Sex" Mascara, and Sephora's matte rouge lipstick. 

Pretty simple look, but what else should I try?

I do the same exact thing with a red lip! Just keep the eyes very simple with bronzer in the crease, mascara and eyeliner. I hope someone else gives us something more creative to work with because I am always too chicken to branch out too far LOL. The only other "look" I've done with a red lip is the basic gold shimmer on the lid to make it a little more glam 🙂

OMG so funny you posted this.

This AM, I wanted to do red lips BUT eyeshadow.........I was torn.

So then I always go for some silvers/grey or browns.

I almost did a hot pink purple mix with red lips O.o I dunno if that would look ok on me. But yeah that is a huge dilemma for me!
