Ethical Make-up and Skincare finds

Hey Beauty Insider Community!

The source of the beauty products I purchase is very important to me, and I want to make sure what I buy is made with ethical standards. I want to make sure everything I buy is made responsibly, without forced or child labor. I know that it is really hard to track where the ingredients come from, but I was wondering if anyone knows companies at Sephora who enforce ethical standards in their sources? I was wondering if anyone else here feels the same way and how they make sure the products they buy are like this? I was also wondering if anyone has any tips to find ethical products, whether they are beauty or not.

@Sam013 That’s awesome that you want to support companies that are trying to be more conscious about the products they release to the public. If you click on an item on Sephora’s website and scroll down to the Highlights section, some will mention if they’re clean or cruelty free. 

For anything else, I would recommend searching for the parent company in the news and keep up with what they might be involved in. I think it’s great that you are wanting to do your own research on it instead of second or even third hand information that is skewed or incomplete.
