@moogu This will be of limited use since I have used neither of these specific products. That being said, I've always been slightly suspicious of makeup expiration dates. Makeup is basically just a stabilized emulsion. From what I can tell based on the ingredients, it looks like these products will actually "expire" when the oils start oxidizing- like when they smell of old crayons/ cardboard/ paint. The Tata Harper seems like it has the least stabilizing agents so it would probably go first of the two, though it's possible there are some antioxidant containing ingredients I am missing. Either should last about a year at a minimum if you keep them in a cool, dry place out of the light. If you're worried I would store them in the fridge. I personally like to use more natural products and I generally use them lightly (so they stay in my collection forever- like multiple years) and I can't remember a time when something went bad on me, so 6 months is a VERY conservative estimate on time.  TL,DR: They'll last more than 6mos and I wouldn't worry about it. maybe just choose one if you're still concerned

I love all things mini and my first question when I see a new product is, “Does it come in a travel size?” I like to keep things simple on the road, especially when flying. What’s on your “Must Bring” list? I love this palette from NARS. It has 6 eye shadows, a highlight, a blush, and a bronzer, all neutral with either a matte or slight shimmer. For lips, I stick to whatever shade of FRESH tinted balm I have on me.

@libbster I have both and have pale skin. The Bite sticks are more powdery and pigmented. Like there's only 3 shades that I wear in multusticks. RMS lip to cheek is more creamy and dewy. I use almost all RMS now and find the pots last forever. The coconut oil has antibacterial properties. I have not had one turn rancid on me. I would say the RMS lipsticks are more comparable in finish...I have used those on both lips and cheeks

I love Milk Makeup as well! I'm also a HUGE fan of Nudestix. Their NUDESTIX - Nudies Matte Blush & Bronze are great.  Bondi Bae is a great bronze and all of the blushes are beautiful. And their newest shade Sunkissed is the perfect reddish bronze that kind of bronzes and blushes and does it ALL. While I find they apply equally as nicely as Milk products I feel they last a bit longer on the skin so I reach for them a bit more.

I have to be up around 4am also and normally, I just prime my lids and set with translucent power (oily eyelids so if I wear mascara this is essential lol), toss on mascara (usually Clinique High Impact - SUPER soft/natural for the no makeup look), brow gel (boy brow or gimme brow) and a gloss. Takes me about 5 mins or less. If I have some extra time or I want to feel just a little extra I'll toss a blush like Burts Bees Toasted Cinnamon or Benefit Dallas that is kind of like a cross between a blush and a bronzer on my cheeks and lightly across my lids and pat some kind of potted concealer under my eyes (NARS soft matte is great for this). That probably only ups the whole routine to 8-10 mins tops but gives a slightly more "polished" look if I'm feeling it or know I have a meeting or something I want to look a little more put together for.

1. Prime your eyelids with: urban decay eyeshadow primer2. If you have oily skin type then this step will help eyeshadows last even longerwithout creasing: use a nude shade of mac’s paint pot (ex. Ochre or  Painterly)  all over your eyelids as a base.3. Apply an eyeshadow color that compliments your eye color all over the lid. My eyes are brown and I love using Mac’s “All that glitters” eyeshadow (it comes off as a shimmery rose gold color on my neutral fair Asian skin tone)4. Take a matte brown or any darker shade of eyeshadow (I just use elf matte brown shadows) and apply lightly on the crease to create dimension.. lastly blend, blend, blend!  5. Optional: add a highlighter at your inner corners. I use fenty beauty or glossier play but you can also just use any shimmery pearl eyeshadow; curl lashes and add glossier mascara.  These are just tried and tested products and methods I use on the daily for a quick easy and eye look that lasts all day. Hope it helps!

@jnsmag Everyone doesn't fit neatly inside any color/undertone a brand has. Undertones nor foundation color are an absolute, sure the vein test etc gives a starting point. Swipe colors on your jawbone. The one that blends in completely is the match, but check in all sorts of lighting- office, natural/outside, indoor etc. Sometimes the color of i.e. tinted spf, tinted primer do affect the shade. It's normal to have different shades on the body vs face, as well as mixing colors to find yours - same concept as painting. Go to department stores too, they will color match and give samples. Surprised Sephora was matching your wrist, was it by the machine or themselves?

@eveykeay You can try mixing in drunk elephants d bronzi with the umbra tinte to kick up the glow and tan a notch. Also blush adds a beautiful flush of color I like milk's cheek and lip makeup stick in the color quickie. You can also try adding a nice lip stick in a bright shade I think the contrast between the top of your face with your bright thick eyelashes (due to the extensions) and the bottom of your face, with bright colorful lips will really make your makeup minimal but pop.
