I was afraid to try bronzer too, but you don't have to be!  A fluffy brush helps to keep the colour diffused to warm you up a bit.  And it doesn't have to look orange.  There are many bronzers suitable for light skin to give you a sunkissed glow.  @sydneysephora

I love it! I think that this one is the best because cover the skin and has a lot of benefits too!@kiara27 wrote:I am the same. I recommend the CC+ from IT Cosmetics! You can apply the tiniest amount wherever you feel necessary. I usually don't even apply it on my entire face. I have combination skin, so this is great for both my dry patches and oily spots. IT COSMETICS - CC+ Cream with SPF 50+

I omitted mascara, which I used to take with me on previous trips to the Mediterranean, because when you go out at night, no one really sees your eyes (people don’t go out until 9:30pm). During the day you are on a boat or on a beach swimming. Why would you need mascara?

Powder sunscreens are great as they contain mineral filters which physically block the sun. As soon as you put the powder over your makeup you are protected. Peter Thomas Roth makes a really good one with a brush so it’s perfect for on the go! Another good one that I’ve been loving is the Coola setting spray. This is a formula which uses chemical sunscreen instead of physical. Try them both and see which one you like best!

I only wear foundation a couple of times a year for events.  Everyday I use cream products that absorb into the skin.  I just put on an everyday, non-tinted moisturizer first. I use drugstore concealer, powder (under eyes only), liquid eyeliner, and mascara.  But I use the tagged products from Sephora.  MILK MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer - Baked RMS BEAUTY - Living Luminizer FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer - Fenty GlowANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS - Tinted Brow GelFIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair® Cream Intense Hydration

I love Milk’s blushes, but I’ve recently been obsessed with Benefit’s benetint! It has a really natural finish, but you can always layer on as much as you want until you get your desired look. It’s super lightweight and feels good on the skin (regardless of whether or not you’re wearing foundation). You can even use it on your lips! (I dab some on my finger before dabbing it in the middle of the lips to give an ombré effect).

I have combination skin so no matter what I do, I’ll still get shiny...that said, I’ve been absolutely obsessed with the KOSAS - Tinted Face Oil Foundation - Tone 4 ! I’ve pretty much embraced the no makeup makeup look and do it 6 out of 7 days...It’s an oil but looks so much better for no make makeup. I’ve used the it matte cc and LM in th past but this surpasses them by a lot. regardless of what I use, I do need to blot/powder mid day (which is not a big deal for me) the skin tint looks so much more natural than the cc and tinted moisturizer.

For a barely there mascara, I use Maybelline's s Snapscara Washable Mascara. I love it, it's one of those rare (high end feeling) drugstoremakeup gems. It's lengthening and the brush is absolutely amaaazzzingg - not a clump to be found! 1-2 coats of this would definitely give you a natural lash look. Did I mention the price is unbeatable?

It’s all trial and error, really. If a neutral toned foundation is still too pink for you, try one with a warmer undertone. As others have said on this thread, no one is completely cool, warm, or neutral toned. If you watch Lisa Eldridge’s video on finding the correct foundation shade (which I highly recommend), she states that skin tones are a mix of various undertones (e.g., blues, greens, yellows, reds, etc.) it's all about which ones are more dominant within your skin. For example, I'm more on the cool side since I have a lot of pink and red in my skin. I tend to neutralize it with a neutral toned foundation that matches my body. Go to different makeup counters and have the artists match you. Samples are your best friend! Try them out in different lighting (inside/outside, fluorescent lighting) to analyze how the color appears on your skin. Does it look different in certain lighting? It's always important to match your foundation in natural daylight as store lighting is harsh and can distort the foundation color. Some formulas oxidize too, so check to make sure the color matches when It's dry.

Hi @KelsAl ,   I would go for a basic eye look with a glam eyeliner, like the  MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Highliner Glam Glitter Gel Eyeliner - Glitz Blitz 31.   Glitz Blitz 31 is a peachy copper shade, so it's still neutral on the eyes but adds a fun pop of glam! Not to mention it lasts all day.   Best, Laurie

The Sun Safety kit is a great suggestion from @missjeanie. I'd highly recommend using separate products for moisturizing and sun protection, @LeaEsipov. There are a ton of cosmetically elegant brands. My skin tends towards oily so Coola and MdSolarSciences have been great for me.

@KasC I find that the only concealer that will cover my dark circles on it's own is the Tarte Shape Tape. Otherwise, I usually need a color corrector. However, the TATCHA - The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment really works as a 2-in-1 eye cream and corrector for me and lets me use less heavy concealer.

Hello! What are some good makeup brands and techniques for looking natural but polished in videos? Is there particular foundation or powder that works particularly well? What I have makes me look either too greasy or too dusty. I know nothing! Who can help offer some basic video makeup strategies? Concealer? eyes? lips? etc! I'm just going for a natural look. Thanks so much!
