Stranded on an island, THREE fave makeup products?

Hypothetically, let’s say you’re stranded on an island for a month, and can only have your favourite THREE makeup products. What would you want? For me it’d be concealer (my favourites are nars complete creamy concealer or the radiant creamy concealer), mascara (I don’t have a favourite), and a velvet matte lipstick (VS perfection is my fav!).

Ooooo, let's see...I'd bring:

1. Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette - it's my do-all eyeshadow palette

2. Chanel Tan de Chanel Soleil Bronzing Base - it's a great all-over bronzer

3. either Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Honeysuckle or Stila Liquid Lipstick in Dolce

I would pick my concealer (tarte shape tape), powder foundation (I have a Walmart brand right now though) and mascara.

this was a funny topic because if we're really stranded we wouldn't worry about most makeup, but I would have to go with my Fenty Beauty foundation, primer, and Estee Lauder eyeliner,

If I was stranded on an island I wouldn't want makeup, i would want a undamaged plane, fuel and a "How to Fly a Plane For Dummies" instuction manual.

Augh!! Hopefully its an oasis of an island! That way I wouldnt need anything except the aloe for my skin, and hair, coconuts or any other fruit for haircare and moisture and some sand to exfoliate! Ha! But really though, i would keep ABH sundipped glowkit, ABH eyebrow pencil and some lipgloss.

1. anastasia clear brow gel (makes my brows look bomb!) 2. mascara (right now i’m using the diorshow because it is not clumpy at all i’m in love) 3. liquid highlighter or a cream shadow that’s a nice champagne color

First world problems...it shouldn’t have been so hard for me to pick! 

I think lip balm and sunscreen should be a given, but If not those are my 2 and I’d choose eyeliner. 

If i can take those 2 freebies, then:

1. Foundation with spf

2. Liquid liner 

3. Brows!

My three make up products for this month-long island vacation would have to be: 1. Becca undereye primer; 2. Mascara (Dior Show Overcurl or Burberry Cat Lashes); and 3. Hydrating lipstick (Lancôme Rouge Lèvre or YSL).

considering there would most likely be no mirrors, I'd do a brow gel, sunscreen, and lip balm. Can't go wrong with essentials lol

I like this one! I’d bring NARS tinted moisturizer, butter bronzer and hourglass vanish flash highlighter. My fourth would be buxom lipgloss in dolly.

Fun thread! I'm a minimalist in many ways, but love beauty products so much that I can't not do three categories. Makeup only- Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer since it can be sheered out for light foundation, Benefit They're Real Tinted Lash Primer, & Stila Convertible Color for cheeks & lips. Skincare- Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM, Obagi Professional C Serum 20, & Clinique Repairwear Anti-Gravity Eye Cream to double as a face cream. Luxe-feeling sun protection- SuperGoop (ugh!) Forever Young Body Butter SPF40, Neogen Day-Light Protection Sunscreen SPF50, & Naked Bee Zinc Lip Balm SPF15.

This is a tough question!

1) tinted moisturizer with SPF (I still want some coverage for my dark spots)

2) lip balm with SPF like Lancôme l’absolue la base

3) eyelash curler so at least my lashes are visible (mascara doesn’t hold up on me without being curled first anyway)

If I was stranded on an island, it would be hard for me to only have three makeup products! My first product would have to be the ABH Brow Wiz in Soft Brown because it's my holy grail product. My second product would be the Tatcha Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ (it has solutions for pores, uneven skin tone, and it's a sun screen all in one!). My last product would be the Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil. This oil is my favorite because it smells so good, gives my skin a beautiful glow, and it doesn't feel sticky! 🙂

Hi @Nandinia,

I think I would have to go with sunscreen, then a body product like the new Fenty Body Lava Body Luminizer, so that I am glowing like the Beach Goddess that I am and then lip gloss. I love the Marc Jacobs Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipglosses. 

I am going to Hawaii soon, so I love this thread! If you have any suggestions for great beachy products let me know!
