Okay so this might be long but I need help yall. Okay 1 how do you find what skin type you have. I dont really think I have dry skin and I definitely do not have oily skin however I get sweaty easy and live in Florida! (Hi yes it was 90 today its November) and 2 how do you shade match?? I feel like I'm always picking shades that are too light but then again I am just getting into even using foundation and I'm 20. I've worked with kids my whole life so some mascara and lip balm was good for me! So yeah, any advice or even products, anything you can give me I'll take! Thanks yall

As far as foundation, I'd go into a Sephora or Ulta and talk to an employee there. They've always been super helpful in getting me matched to a foundation shade. I knew I was pale, but could never figure out if I had cool undertones, neutral undertones, or warm undertones. They were able to get me matched up pretty quick.

As far as dealing with sweat and humidity (I'm a Carolina girl so I get you), I was never able to find a total fix, but I did find some items that helped. First was making sure I wasn't sweating or sticky at all when first applying my make-up. I always did my makeup with a fan in the bathroom to keep me cool and make sure each layer was fully dry before adding the next product. I also carried blotting papers when I left the house. Huge help. I also really loved the SUPERGOOP! - Defense Refresh Setting Mist Broad Spectrum SPF 50. It was super cooling on my face and seemed to calm down sweat. I know a lot of people jump to powder to control shine, but whenever I head back down south to visit family I avoid it like the plague. It instantly becomes like glue on my face when I step outside. Instead, stick to a good cream primer. I really like the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer 1.35 oz/ 40 mL. It is also cooling to the skin. There is a definite theme of making your face feel cooler even if it isn't actually cooler. Finally, try and go for a more natural make-up palette. Dark colors smear like crazy no matter what you do when you walk out into one of those choking humid summer days.
