make up

hi, I’m 17 and I recently started doing make up and I do not know what products I need. I also have oily dry acne skin. I mean a tight budget and I love makeup but I just don’t know what to use. Neither do I have the budget to do it right now, but some tricks or advice would be gladly appreciated

Re: make up

Hi @anais17

Make up discovery is a fun journey. And you really don't need to go out and buy everything out there.

Can I ask what products you've gotten or tried already?

For skin care, The Ordinary is a pretty affordable brand if you haven't checked it out yet, they have a products for acne prone skin too.

Re: make up

Hey there! So you're getting into makeup? That's awesome! Let me break it down for you in a simple way. First things first, let's talk about your skin. Since it's oily, dry, and prone to acne, you'll want to take good care of it. Use a gentle face wash that won't dry you out, a light moisturizer that's not oily, and don't forget sunscreen! Now, for makeup, you don't need to go crazy. Start with the basics like a light foundation, use concealer for blemishes, simple mascara to make your eyes stand out and a tinted lip balm for a hint of color and moisture. Remember, you don't need to pile it on. Sometimes less is more, you know? Try to find products that do multiple things to save money. The most important thing? Have fun with it! Play around and see what works for you. Makeup should be enjoyable, not stressful. Good luck!
