how do i sign up so i can get free makeup on my birthday?

my best friend who moved away told me that she signed up on the Sephora app to get free makeup on her birthday. Is it true? If so, can someone please tell me how?

All you have to do is sign up for Sephora's Beauty Insider program and you can receive a free treat on your birthday. The options change every calendar year.  

This year, you can choose between 2 deluxe samples from Tarte, Caudalie or Jack Black:

It looks like you may already be a Beuaty Insider, so all you have to domis go into a store during your birthday month and give them your email or phone number or add the gift to your order when it is available at checkout.
